The Incident at Galley House

Loved it so so much. Scratched the itch Obra Dinn left years ago in my brain. It's not exactly the same, since you do see scenes from the past but not the last moment of someone's death, but it's not much easier either (which I liked!). I even had to use the hints a few times. Liked this hint system too, since it doesn't give you the answer right away, just showing you a general direction to look at (and getting more specific with each hint. The machine felt really nice to use. I've tried TR-49 before this one and never really managed to get it, and this feels like a similar but way more accessible gameplay. Overall, loved the story, the pace of the revelations, surely didn't expect the big twists!

Un petit jeu d'enquête parfait pour tuer un week-end pluvieux. La difficulté est bien calibrée ; on reste rarement bloqué très longtemps. Quelques indices visuels rendent la recherche moins fastidieuse, mais ils pourraient aussi frustrer les joueurs et joueuses qui ne souhaitent pas être aidé.es. Le jeu de piste est prenant, le scénario se réservant par ailleurs quelques petits twists bien amenés. Une très agréable découverte.
