The Hunted is a horror-themed exploration and survival game set in a dark and suspenseful atmosphere.
Months after losing your job as a park ranger, due to being a suspect in the disappearances of several people, you return to the forest once more, determined to document the fates of the missing, reveal the truth and clear your name. However, you know something dangeous and powerful is responsible, and likely still lurks within. Can you make it out with enough evidence to clear your name? Or will you become just like The Hunted.
Is something watching you from the trees? Listen carefully and defend yourself using the tools at your disposal. Find and use batteries to charge your camera and flashlight, you won't want to venture out without them. Also gather supplies left in the woods and manage your hunger, thirst and temperature to survive the elements and be sure you have enough energy to run...
Discover a large playable forest area with plenty of different points of interest. Find the bodies of those who are missing and document the evidence with your camera. Be aware, many aspects of this game are randomly generated, gameplay will be different everytime.
Gather your friends, or anyone crazy enough to follow you, in online 4-player multiplayer to increase your chances of success. However, supplies are limited, be sure to work as a team and ration carefully.
When you have done what you have come here to do, you still need to make it out alive. Think smart, think fast, and run even faster.
