Quirky, funny, tense, contained and short indie experience with a neat style and some great lighting that ends on an amusing note. 100% in ~1h, should've gotten this in a sale tbh but still not outrageously overpriced. (6.5/10)
A very short horror story that will not satisfy all but for those willing to take a chance, there are some nuggets here to be enjoyed. I've played worst that cost way more and weren't nearly as entertaining.
A really short and...okay game. I like the character art a lot and the story is fine. Nothing too special. Two runs took a little over 30mins. Recommended if you like the art, want something short and a little spooky, it's on sale, or you just have an extra $2 sitting around.
perfect price to fun ratio
Tentatively recommend. It's a very short, very limited game. Takes place across 12 scenes that are around 45 seconds each. The writing was decent and the atmosphere was pretty good but there just wasn't enough of it. At the current 75% off I'd say it's worth it, but for $4 I don't think 30 minutes max of gameplay is good enough, especially with a completely linear narrative.
I loved the flat, hand drawn characters against the 3d environments. It's such a cool way of stylizing the game. It also does get properly creepy and the mystery of what's going on in the titular house definitely kept me invested the whole way through!
Autor gry nie zmusza nas do powolnego przechodzenia (Everybody gone to the rapture). Polecam!
Playing this game reminded me of watching a Blumhouse style horror movie. What starts as mundane day to day life suddenly takes an unexpected turn. There's great use of lighting and atmosphere here. I would love to see what other short storied Hedgefield has to tell with these short interactive experiences.
really enjoyed the short story! would love to see more with this art style.
Bite-sized, light-hearted visual novel that made me question how much my delivery drivers know about my problems :) Check it out!
