The Horror at Highrook is an unusual game with some unique mechanics. There is a wealth of story, character and challenge hidden in the halls. There is a lot of text in the game and no voice acting (I couldn't afford it!) and that might put some people off, I understand. However, If you enjoy evocative writing, unpacking mysteries, and are wiling to experiment with a different type of game, then I think you will enjoy the journey! Check out the fully narrated gameplay trailer above to see how the game systems look in action.

I absolutly love this game!! Took me just under 12 hours to finish, and all the elements are there for an excellent time! The story writing was so perfect, the gameplay mechanics were simple and easy to get into but did end up being challenging in a very fun, very well choreographed way! I have already recommended this game to everyone I know, so now I am recommending it to you too. :D
Really cute
Great and relatively quick mystery, I really like the worldbuilding and the mechanics are straightforward enough to allow the real meat of the game to be figuring out how to solve the puzzles and not wrangle with the game itself. Can't reccomend enough.
great game
A fun game. Kinda has Book of Hours vibes but a bit more of a linear story to it. Overall would recommend.
Cultist simulator meets Darkest Dungeon.
