I love point-and-click escape room-type games, very fun puzzles just got quite a bit confusing near the end.

Great game. I got the bad ending but I will play this to get other endings.
Так себе
Напоминает Rusty Lake, но есть баги из-за которых приходится заново переигрывать всю игру, пропадают активные кнопки переключения между комнатами или взаимодействия с предметами...
It's overall a very fun and engaging puzzle game, but there are some bugs I noticed. 1. Some elements would still be visible during the ending scenes. 2. The buttons for the main menu became invisible after a while.
Juego corto e interesante

The Great Deer is a short point-and-click adventure built around exploration, puzzles, hidden passages, and an increasingly sinister supernatural mystery. Developed and published by Dr. Puzzler, the game follows an adventurer who enters an ancient temple while searching for a valuable artifact. What initially seems like a straightforward treasure hunt soon becomes considerably more dangerous when evidence suggests that a dark ritual is underway. The inhabitants of the temple are attempting to awaken a demonic god, giving the protagonist a more urgent reason to explore the ruins beyond personal profit. Most of the experience takes place inside the temple, which functions as a large interconnected puzzle rather than simply a collection of unrelated rooms. Players move between different areas, investigate suspicious objects, discover secret passages, and gradually learn how different sections of the structure connect. There is a degree of non-linear exploration, allowing certain areas and puzzles to be approached in different orders. This makes remembering earlier discoveries important because an object or clue that appears meaningless at first may become useful after reaching another part of the temple. Puzzle solving forms the core of the gameplay. The Great Deer combines environmental riddles, inventory puzzles, logical challenges, visual clues, and object manipulation. Progress regularly requires players to pay attention to their surroundings instead of following obvious objective markers. Collected objects are stored in an inventory and can later be applied to appropriate situations. The mechanics themselves are intentionally straightforward, placing most of the challenge on understanding clues and recognizing relationships between objects and locations. Some solutions can nevertheless feel obscure, particularly when the intended interaction is not communicated as clearly as it could be. The interface follows the same uncomplicated philosophy. Movement is handled through directional arrows positioned around the screen, while inventory items remain readily accessible. There are few unnecessary systems competing for attention, which allows players to concentrate on examining the environment. This simplicity suits the traditional point-and-click structure, although veterans of highly polished adventure games may notice moments when clearer feedback or more intuitive interaction design would have improved the experience. One of the game's more memorable qualities is its visual presentation. The Great Deer uses hand-drawn cartoon artwork supported by frame-by-frame animation, with vector-based graphics helping maintain a clean appearance across different resolutions. Certain sequences adopt a flatter visual approach inspired by stained-glass windows. That stylistic shift works particularly well with the temple's religious imagery, mysterious history, and supernatural themes. The graphics are not technically extravagant, but they establish an identity that feels appropriate for an adventure about ancient rituals and forbidden discoveries. The story is closely connected to exploration. Instead of relying entirely on lengthy conversations or cinematic sequences, the game uses environmental details to reveal what happened within the temple and what its inhabitants are trying to accomplish. Discovering another room therefore contributes to both mechanical and narrative progress. The player's original pursuit of an artifact gradually becomes entangled with the possibility of preventing a catastrophic ritual. Multiple outcomes also give the adventure some consequence and encourage players to consider how their discoveries relate to the larger mystery. Atmosphere is strengthened by an original soundtrack composed by Aliel Hernandez and Andres Ciambotti. The music complements the isolation and uncertainty of exploring the temple without overwhelming the relatively restrained presentation. Combined with the hand-drawn artwork and darker supernatural elements, it helps create an experience that shifts between adventurous curiosity and unsettling tension. The Great Deer never needs realistic horror imagery to create unease because much of its mood comes from wondering what lies behind the next sealed doorway. The game's limited scale is both an advantage and a weakness. With an expected playtime of roughly two to five hours, it avoids stretching its puzzle concepts beyond their usefulness and can be completed without a substantial time commitment. At the same time, players seeking extensive characterization, a sprawling world, complicated dialogue systems, or a lengthy campaign may find it too modest. The story introduces intriguing supernatural ideas but does not have enough room to explore every concept deeply. Occasional puzzle ambiguity can also interrupt the otherwise satisfying rhythm of investigation and discovery. Taken as a complete experience, The Great Deer is an enjoyable independent adventure that understands the fundamental appeal of point-and-click games. Exploring interconnected rooms, collecting unusual objects, interpreting clues, uncovering secret passages, and gradually reconstructing the temple's disturbing history provide a satisfying sense of progression. Its strongest qualities are its focused puzzle design, unusual visual identity, mysterious atmosphere, and willingness to keep the interface simple. Its short duration and occasional unclear interactions prevent it from becoming an exceptional example of the genre, but they do not erase the charm of the journey. The Great Deer is ultimately best suited to players who appreciate compact puzzle adventures and supernatural mysteries rather than action-heavy experiences. Dr. Puzzler delivers a focused game with enough distinctive artistic and narrative ideas to make its ancient temple worth investigating. Rating: 7/10
