For less than the price of a pint of beer you get to take out waves of spiders in a nice park! The game is simple but very effective, there are a couple of different guns to unlock plus you have to manage your ammo and grenades. A great one for those who dislike spiders like me as it makes it quite creepy! I would think this would be a great title for a bit of party play, demoing VR to others or letting older children have a go!
The gun position doesn't line up with the controller, its like the game was designed to be played with some kind of gun attachment where you hold the gun from a handle sticking out perpendicular to the bottom of the controller. This makes aiming very difficult. The game doesn't appear to have any sort of save-point mechanism, you play until you die then start back from the very beginning. I saw the positive reviews and thought I would give it a shot, despite the video/screenshots (I care more about gameplay then graphics) but alas it doesn't have any meaningful gameplay elements that would keep me coming back more than the 9 minutes I spent figuring out how to play.
This is actually a really fun VR game for the price. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but it was a lot more addictive than I thought! I would totally recommend this is a fun little game to play with your friends for high score competitions or if you're recording VR shenanigans for YouTube or Twitch. Classic defense shooter upgrade system and creepy spider enemies that evolve as you go. I think this is the first VR game for this developer and they'll do wonders as time goes on. Clearly understands how to make a fun VR experience already, so I'm looking forward to future releases.
Seems to be a dead game. As Micah already told in his review 2 month ago, the positioning of the pistol in your hand is more like you're holding a sword. It's an arcade style game with upgrades you can buy, but you loose them when you die. also the ground is not synched to my roomscaling, in every other gameand vive home the ground is on the ground, here the ground is nearly on my knees. Yep, it could have been a funny game when these things are fixed. its not that complicated to rearrange the pistol on the controller and add some extra lives. have played better games which were free to play. i have no idea who the developer is, but it looks like its his first game. its has potential and i would have played it much longer an kept it when at least the pistols were fixed, but in this case i had to return the game
this was one of the first vr games i played. its really fun to play simple and fun, the price you can't beat.
