I don't normally play this type of game, but I still enjoyed it a lot and the level of difficulty felt appropriate. The only negative is that the combat mechanics felt a bit repetetive, but having the story and beautiful graphics very present in the combat made sure it was still an interesting and engaging time. Overall I think the story and the aesthetics is the best part of the game. The pacing was very good, giving you time to breathe without getting boring, and I was always intrigued to see how it would continue. The story was cute and wholesome yet deep and mature, and I found it moving and thoughtful to think about even after playing the game. At some points I needed a bit of effort to get past an obstacle, but I was never stuck for long. In other words it was a bit challenging but not frustrating. Since it is point and click the solution only required a bit of thought so players who struggle with timing and controls can also enjoy this game. The player has enough freedom to feel engaged but not so much that it deters from or dilutes the story, which is what I feel the whole game is centered around. Everything in the game fits with and adds to the story beautifully, and I recommend this game to everyone who enjoys a good story.
I played for over an hour but while there's certainly some interesting bits, I overall found myself unable to get invested in the story. It just feels dull to me. This kind of political theme doesn't really do it for me and if I can't even get invested in our main character I just can't recommend the game to others.
Protagonist is a ♥♥♥♥. She made me hate the game, which is rather nice.
The characters are not what you expect and the soundtrack is beautiful. A unique experience for sure. Gameplay tip If you get stuck at the point and click sections talk to the boy (or in one case a dark-haired girl) and they provide very useful tips.
4/10 the story is kinda all over the place but what really gets the thumbs down are all the bugs and the combat system, not so much combat as a turn based puzzle. no random crits, no miss chance, just do or do not, there is no try. this makes combat a turn based puzzle system, Fetch quest after fetch quest after fetch quest………. implied child rape No way to light-up all clickable things on screen Found a handgun, not the game i thought this would be People hanging themself Fishing a key out of ♥♥♥♥ cause i fed it to somebody by mistake and they ♥♥♥♥ it out I locked up the game once, by leaving a room when i was suppose to do something, had to reset https://i.imgur.com/AUAo2Rd.jpg Died in battle screen goes black and had to reset, thank god for auto save This happened every single time since i turned off the thing that asks if i want to lower difficulty
Получилась интересная смесь: рисунок локаций напоминает Миядзаки, геймплей среднее между Child of Light и The Whispered World.
Beautiful but stops making any sense after a while, and the obligatory minigames are a pain.
A touching little game that reminded me a lot of the game "The Whispered World". Greatly recommend it though it can be a little abstract at times.
The most underrated game, highly recommended You will cry I played on easy and finished it in 6hrs
I just can't finish this game. The battle are absolute ♥♥♥♥. Like, way beyond time consuming, boring and pointless. Several people have said this and STILL the dev's refuse to change anything about the combat system. Essentially they just say "Screw you, we already have your money, so we give zero ♥♥♥♥♥ about your opinion". It's the same couple of actions over and over and over. Which would be fine if each action didn't only damage the enemy about 1/50th of their health and there's no way to make them quicker either. Can't skip them, no items to be used, doesn't let you upgrade the character or weapons or actions. RPG's from the 80's and 90's had more options and depth than this does. Just watch a walkthrough and save yourself the money, like I wish I had done to begin with.
