Really enjoyed The Gauntlet, it's kinda janky but loveable. Challenging but fair and the obstacles are telegraphed in advance so there isnt any "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" thrown at you. Enjoyed the different colour palette in each stage. Props to whoever designed stage 4, had some fun Killer Klowns from outer space vibes to it. Music was great in all stages. The story was ... quirky? Took a while to get all the achievements but it was a worth while endevour. Currently working on getting a top time on each level and getting sub 25 on G2. Fair play to everyone at Round Table Studios <3
Like a death trap colour circus, 5/5.
Generally a pretty solid experience, definitely a fun little parkour game. Nice design, fun mechanics, decent look, decent feel, well input timer. Genuinely a good grab my overall take on it is great. Played fully on Keyboard & Mouse, got to the end of the last level, didn't beat it fast enough to see for sure, 1.3 hours. (Had some great runs seemingly) Does have some minor improvements I'd like to see, hoping that they are not overlooked for the future maybe? -Starting a run by looking off to the side to hit the elevator button is annoying to say the least, maybe another way to start it? -The wall running "strips" feel very off&on, majority of the time they work but sometimes they simply don't. -Sliding on obstacles (moving platforms) feels definitely jittery. -As far as I saw, there is no way to change the controls in the game itself, hoping to change sprint to like a mouse button as an example.
je recommande car je l'ai eu gratos mais bon ....
