Urban Escape

Parkour game where focus is more on mouse aiming and precision. The gameplay is quite basic. All you have to do is run forward - the sprint may be toggled on so you don't have to hold it down all the time - and jump on platforms and walls. Wall-running is activated automatically as long as the camera is pointed along the wall. If you look straight at it, you will simply fall down. Another ability is dash. It can be used at any time, but its range is so extensive that you'll fly right over regular platforms. Grenade tossing is present, however it is not the game's main feature. Grenades are used to destroy turrets on the path. Turrets explode with a single hit, but you must aim right at them. You can endure three or four of their bullets, so they won't kill you right away. Grenades fly in a straight line, but their restricted range prevents them from being used to blow up distant turrets. Some turrets can be ignored, while others must be destroyed. Because this is difficult to do while moving quickly, you can slow down time. Although there is a limited supply, it is more than adequate and recharges quickly. There are some other obstacles as well, such as rubber poles and lights. The lights are the most frustrating because they kill you instantly when you get close. Later you also get a grapple hook and a jetpack. Same as with grenades, grapple requires perfect precision because it only works when you aim and hit directly into hanging circles. This mechanics didn’t feel very great. The issue is that grapple circles change color when it’s possible to grapple, but the color should be more visible. I’d be happier with a more obvious visual clue. Stages need to be played in a linear order. There are only three, but they take a while to beat. Fortunately, you do not have to finish them in a single playthrough. Checkpoints save your progress after each challenging section, so you can continue from that point even if you exit the game.

It's fun but still challenging at some parts. I liked it.

Pretty interesting, fun and sometimes frustrating platformer. It will definitely make you want to play it over and over again. The responsive animations and effects make you feel the speed while you have to hit precise shots in the air. It truly makes you feel like a badass if you can git gud. I have some criticisms about how much precision the game asks for, but it's just nitpicking, go ahead and give this pretty little game a try. You will not regret it.

Controls are super easy to learn and the game is fun once you get used to the mechanics and atmosphere. It is a nice game both to play for a few minutes during breaks and for hours.
