And so, you had been dragged into Hell along with your wallet, now you seen the Hell gate, you must use your wallet to destroy it and win this game. Remember, your wallet is a strong weapon to destroy Hell.
TLDR
First off, it's a straight mobile port so expect all (or most of) the problems that typically come with mobile games. Heavy monetization, stamina systems, grinding, limited inventory space (with the option to expand it for money), and timers. Timers to get assistance from friends, 5 hour cooldown, but you can spend 50 gold coins (the premium currency) to lift that cooldown. It is definitely not the most egregious of its kind, but I still don't think it's worth the time for a variety of reasons either. ===== It doesn't feel like they even tried to make a proper PC port of the game. Options are almost nonexistent, no volume sliders, just toggles for sound effects and music. No resolution or resizing the window if you want to play windowed. Description of the game is pretty laughable, they couldn't even bother trying to convince people to download it and it still ended up kind of misleading ("3D + RTS + CCG + 666 = The Gate" apparently that's the best they could do to convince you). It's not an rts, or an action rpg or anything event remotely resembling any of those things. It's 90% ccg with microtransactions (a lot of them).
Gameplay
The battles you see in the trailer, that's the entire level. One screen. Monsters typically spawn off screen and come towards you, you have a party of 4 so there aren't much tactics involved with the battles. Just keep healers and mages safe. Team composition can maybe count for strategy but the demons you get is RNG since you gotta buy card packs. Most battles (at least starting out) are incredibly easy to the point where you can alt tab out to do something else while the game plays itself. I did this and got through the first 2 areas without even upgrading any cards. Decided to upgrade after that because I ran out of inventory space. You also have an auto battle system where they use skills on their own too. Up until the second continent I didn't have to do anything but upgrade a little bit. Once I got there and died I upgraded a bit again and was fine for a few missions until I started dying again. At that point there wasn't a whole lot more I could do with the resources I had (playing for free) to progress. This is with user interaction and trying to position my team properly, keep the squishy ones away from enemies and focus on the tougher monsters. So by the second continent (which will take you maybe an hour at most to get to) you'll probably begin the massive upgrading/evolving grind you find in a lot of mobile ccgs.
Monetization
There is the tedious and annoying stamina system that comes with most mobile games. Run out of stamina and you're going to have to spend real money to refill it (or wait), etc... It's about 1 dollar for two energy refills (50 max stamina). Starter dungeons use 5 stamina per run. There is a "VIP" system where the more money you spend the more benefits you get in-game. I absolutely hate this as its blatant p2w and I feel it's exploitative. It's 1 dollar for 100 "gold coins," the premium currency. It costs 2 dollars for one premium summon (guaranteed to be at least a rare), 50 cents for a equipment summon, 2 dollars for summoning "exp" cards used for leveling up your cards. The exp are what you might be spending most of your money on since upgrading your cards takes FOREVER.
UI
UI wasn't optimized for PC either. Using the skills for example. You have to click the orbs at the top. Even larger orbs pop up on the entire screen after that and then have to click again to use em. We don't need 4 orbs taking up the entire screen because we're using a mouse. We have the ability to be precise and can accurately click on the normal sized ones in the UI. Obviously this just feels lazy to me and some of you might think I'm nit picking. Maybe I am, if it doesn't bother you then just ignore that. No way to cancel targetable spells as far as I could find either. Right clicking or pressing escape didn't work. A lot of functions you'd expect from a PC game don't exist. You have to click and drag to move up and down through your list of cards, or drag left and right to move through horizontal lists. Not the worst thing in the world but again just a sign of laziness in my opinion.
What's good?
The only pros this has vs the mobile version is that you can control your team much easier since a mouse is more precise and quicker than your finger. And if you're someone who wants to spend money on the game it's a bit cheaper to do so on the PC. The game hands out various gifts on a fairly regular basis, including stamina. This is pretty common in mobile games though so it's expected as far as I'm concerned. Right from the start it gives you some decent cards.
Last thoughts
I will also mention that after a certain point the game spiked in difficulty pretty hard, I assume that's the point they want you to start spending money to get better demons for your party. If you don't mind mobile games, go 'head and try it, but for everyone else who might be expecting a legit game with some depth, this is definitely not for you. Personally, I can't recommend it. It's a straight mobile game on PC. If I wanted that I could get an android emulator or bluestacks. That just doesn't work for me, there needs to be more to the game if you're going to put it on PC. If you want, here's a video just showing you around the game and what the battles are actually like. No commentary but I added annotations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BNS_ikCNXc Video is unlisted, I don't make money off of youtube bla bla bla.

Obligatory Tutorial that won't even let you enter the options screen before you finish it, microtransactions wherever you go, combat system that is both as intellectually stimulating and controllable as a cockfight. 10/10 would try for 5 minutes, laugh and uninstall again.
Don't be fool please and do not install this money suck. I still play this "666" game on Mobile Android platform that already sucked unbelivable amounts of money, unbeliavable I repeat. I never spent that amount in any other game. Thousands of dollars. The publisher Mobage/DeNA together developers Spicy Horse are the worst thing on game industry and publishing. I've installed the game on Steam just to be able write this review and can tell you aloud and in a good tone: Stay away! You've been warned. I got addicted and I really need a way to let it go (with all the damn amount of money sucked from me). Greedy game. I don't care if the Steam version will be cheaper than Mobile and I NEVER would start to play this big game of demon here just because the prohibition to synchronize accounts. I NEVER would start all the s.h.i.t again and I'm sure that nobody would do this. This game just born here but already will be dead. Trust me! -1/10 Wouldn't ever installed this "666" game again.
I played this from Android App Store a few months ago. Played many hours, got some progress in the game; it was a decent time waster for awhile. A few things made me dislike what seemed like something unique and good, at first. You seem to have more control over the outcome of the battle by controlling characters on a screen, but it's a bit of an illusion, as the stronger cards will win every time, whether against players decks or the campaign. This became frustrating quickly, as when facing other players' decks, you're often facing their wallets, especially as you progress farther into the game. The heavy use of microtransactions and gaining no advantage for skilled play = not recommended. Some mobile ports might be worth it, but the game would have to be good in the first place.
A mobile game coming to PC isn't a bad thing. Having to deal with 'wait-to-play' elements is disgraceful however. The game doesn't respect my time. An easy skip.
This game looks well with a nice retro style but the problems i had with this game are big. Point one is that this game feels like an cheap mobilport and so you need to click all moves per mouse or you let the game play automatic (much like an idlegame) and do so good as nothing. The other points are much waiting times to play more or you need much money to have fun and yes this game has a big cashshop part and so you can call it pay2win. If you are not stupid you had the first problems with waiting after 5 hours playtime and then it will never end without pay money. The next point is that the golden cards are overpowered monster and the silver cards you need only 1 (a healer for the team) and the rest you can collect to transform 5 silver cards in 1 golden card + you need 50 gems they drop only from bossbattles in normal mode and they are limited. It exist casual cards too but they are only for feeding the golden monsters and the healer. Oh and i had in 5 hours playtime 9 gamebreaking bugs that i need to restart the game. The bugs are things like you win a match but the match don´t end and after the timer runs down it don´t end too so you need to restart. That´s are the points why i can´t recommend it. Good idea but stupid controls destroyed the strategy part and to play 15 minutes and then wait much hours or spend lot of money isn´t well.

It's gone. It's been over for years. There is no server. There is no support website. There are also no news posts about it being closed, but all there is left to this game now is watching "Verifying Credentials" indefinitely because there is no server to verify anything with. Other portals have removed this game from their library, but not Steam. Steam just refuses to tell you it's a dead end.
