Incredible game! The art style reminded me of paper mario which is one of my all time favorites. The story is really cute an basically the perfect length. The game play is easy to learn but has a ton of depth. This has a ton of potential as a speed game. Lots of little movement tech and optimizations to be discovered. I can't wait to see what people do with it!
#IGCollective: SHOUTOUT to the devs for popping by my stream!! ♥♥♥ This game is PRECIOUS, and I think any platformer fan would enjoy it~! The story has me intrigued, and I can't wait to reach the end -- but I also intend to take my time, because I don't want it to be over yet!! ♫ It's intuitive and just challenging enough to not discourage a player if you get stuck!

The Gardener and the Wild Vines is a delightful puzzle-platformer made with a lot of heart in both its gameplay and story. While easy to pick up and play, mastering the games' techniques, and discovering how to solve puzzles, always feels super rewarding. It also makes me extremely happy to know that more and more LGBTQ+ friendly video games and fairy tales are becoming available for younger audiences to enjoy. I know that if I played this as a kid I would have also loved it to pieces. Overall, a wonderful game, which makes me happy about the stories LGBTQ+ youth of today are growing up with.
Fantastic game, well thought-out, really, really fun to play. It's sort of a platformer, but done in an innovative way. The storyline played out is delightful, and the challenges are worth going back multiple times to conquer. Definitely highly recommend.
Very cute game, I loved it!
pretty fun, interesting characters, go save that mf prince
This is good. This is VERY good. For a price as low as this, I was expecting a game that could be finished in half an hour and not give the slightest toss about plot resolution or characterisation. But no; The Gardener and the Wild Vines is a fantastic game. Took me about six hours to complete and it's bloody beautiful. Even with the retro-style 3D and pixel art, it's still a unique game with a cool unique idea that it does very well, it's very creative, and the characters are well done. Absolutely worth the play. I think my only complaint is that the rebels vs King subplot feels entirely unnecessary. The plot could be wholly about a gardener trying to rescue a prince from an evil magician without anything else tied to it and it would've worked very well, especially as it removes some of the plot threads at the end. Would've made it more complete, is all I'm saying.
omg i LOVED this game. i decided to pick it up because of the gay protagonist and his quest to find his prince bc that is the cutest ♥♥♥♥ i've ever heard and there are not enough wholesome gay games BUT what i got was that and MORE. i don't really play platformers but the mechanics in this game are so unique and fun. the soundtrack and sound design are phenomenal and the characters are SOO good. also i love that they added narrative/story elements that touched on important social topics happening in the world now. 10/10 game. oh also i fully cried at the end. the world needs more games like this <3
Surprisingly tough the further you go. It's a fun little platformer with a good story!
