God, this game has SUCH potential to be so enjoyable, has well animated cut scenes, an interesting plot, and good character design, my only but big gripe with the game is that its like, really difficult, (Minor Spoilers ahead) it may be me being a poor gamer, but if you miss a single ball throw on the first level, your instantly boned, you hit the frame of the window and it just causes a jumpscare but thats the only way to distract him! If you go for the safer vent he just enters, moves to the side of the roof and enters and you cant stop it, plus a very nice addition wouldve been to have some form of way to see how long you have left, again may just be me sucking.
This is one of the most quality indie horror games I've seen in awhile. The game play is genuinely fun and immersive, I was on the edge of my seat playing each level. It's challenging but in a way that the indie horror genre needs. There's a hardcore mode which is the intended way to play but if you're looking to play the game without too much of a challenge then there is also a casual mode. The story is intriguing. It actually has me thinking and wanting to know more about the lore. The characters are really cool and spooky looking. The cut scenes were a huge surprise. The visuals and sound are extremely impressive considering the developer is only one guy? There's also side modes that let you choose different ways to play the game which is a nice addition. I hope to see this game get more recognition because I feel like it could really be good for the indie horror genre right now.
i dont regularly game much but boyfriend told me about this game since i like scary stuff and its actually a lot of fun. i would be lying if i said i didnt get scared a few times lol. if you like scary and mystery games then i would recommend
This game is gets HARD on account of the fact you have to play every difficulty on each level before progressing to the next level. There are 5 levels in total and each one has it's own unique mechanic you have to learn. The interlacing story is interesting as you piece it together. I feel like it's also worth noting that the levels have you standing in one spot, with occasional levels letting you click to move to a different spot. I had a lot of fun with this one (and frustrations) but managed to complete it!
Truly an amazing game right here. This game is so challenging in all the right ways and when you get stuck, there is a really clear tutorial to bring back your sanity. I highly recommend! This game was a lot of fun. Its amazing that this was made by one person. It was really well done and i loved that it had its own way getting through the game. Although i wish it went more into the story, but I can understand even this was a lot to do. So well done. My only problem was it was a little hard to understand how to win the ending without dying a 100 times. But besides that I loved it. It was a lot of fun to stream it.
"The Friends We Left Behind" is a cinematic point & click horror game. You are investigating the disappearance of 7 children. They went missing almost 30 years ago and the last place they were seen was an asylum, Hathmoore Children's Asylum.. Are you up to the task? Can you survive the creeping horrors? Is it real or imaginary?... The game has a good script, awesome cinematics and outstandingly freakish characters! The spine-chilling atmosphere is enhanced by a horrorish and gothic soundtrack. It's captivating and mesmerising. You'll want to progress and see what happens next! Each character is sinister in its own way and all of them combined will make you feel like you are losing your mind. While for one (easy) playthrough it's short, if you try to beat all modes and unlock, let alone beat, the lethal mode, you'll be playing for many hours to come as it isn't easy! The game offers a very good tutorial and help notes as to how to play and beat each stage. There is no free roam. There is practically no walking at all, except point and click movement within the levels. Mainly you have to use your wits and reflexes! It's designed as a clever survival puzzle, close to escape room games feeling but much more interesting! You can use a few tools and your camera to escape this dreadful and dangerous place. Will you be fast enough?... Don't miss this game! Unique and creepy monsters, clever puzzles, fun game mechanics, cool cinematics, story and soundtrack. It's not for the faint of heart, even though, it isn't extremely gruesome or gory. It stands its ground by utilizing classic horror mechanics and not cheap tricks or only random jumpscares. dude, pretty good game. made it through hardcor mode, seems hella underrated.
The game is such full of fresh air, and really has done something to my creative mind. the only thing I do want to say about the game is the fact that the levels are quite short, which is a shame because the characters have such unique designs and mechanics.
I say this game seems pretty cool and scary, I was playing on stream and I got pretty scared. My buddy was there too he did not get scared but he got pretty annoyed about how the enemies are keeps scaring us. But it was a pretty cool game. The characters are pretty cool, the challenges are a little difficult to do but fun I guess. Not too bad at the game, I'll give it that a 8 of 10.
