About
Are the pains and social conflicts we endure today the ultimate consequences of our ancestors’ mistakes?
History flows as a trajectory to the present, and our society is the product of that history. The Fire Nobody Started follows the lives of ancestors, beginning in England and continuing into America.
This game retraces the paths leading to the present, exploring the roads not taken and the aspirations of those seeking dreamlike destinations.
This game is an adventure divided into nine train cars, each representing an era in the journey of a family of Irish descent, spanning from the Industrial Revolution in England to the Vietnam War in America. Players will move sequentially through each train car, interacting with characters from each era to explore its historical context.
Through this journey, players will experience the flow of modern history and its paradigm shifts. From urbanization to the global shift of focus toward America, the game examines major transitions like the move from Newtonian worldviews to quantum theories, and the human rights movements of each era, offering an immersive perspective on history centered around England and America.
Each train car is carefully crafted to mirror the trains of its era, incorporating the artistic movements of the time. Every car showcases a distinct art style, delivering a visually captivating and immersive experience—a hallmark of the game.
While this is a linear text-graphic adventure with a predetermined outcome, the compelling stories of its characters and the game’s meticulous historical accuracy ensure a memorable experience for all players.

A quick ride of the history of humanity that's pretty good. I could refund since I finished in under 2 hours, but I won't. A memento of this train ride would be nice

처절하게 고독하고 아름답다. 몰입하다보면 현기증 일 정도. 많은 글과 생각을 좋아하는 사람들에게 추천하고 싶음
I was drawn to this game by its theme and captivating art style. It’s a short playthrough and a simple point-and-click game, but the art and well-placed sound effects made it an immersive experience. Given the heavy subject matter, I personally felt that the playtime was just right. It’s a compelling game and definitely worth keeping in my collection.
This is a great game which showed me that a short playtime can tell a deep enough story. This game asks us philosophical questions about "what progress" is, but also answers how we should do it. It tells us these stories in a natural way with stunning art and direction. I realy enjoy whole play time!
There is always hope. Good game.
세일할 때 구매했는데 믿을 수 없을 정도로 싼 가격으로 너무 멋진 작품을 즐겼습니다. 아트북 가격이 더 비싸기에 의아했는데 그럴 만한 아트워크와 내용입니다.
