If you like match 3 games and hidden object games, then you'll almost surely like this one. The story is okay and really serves to simply bind the game together. This game is very heavy on match 3 games, so if that's not your thing, then you'll want to skip it. It has great art and music, very enjoyable hidden object scenes (though I do admit I had difficulty and had to get close to the monitor several times to spot the objects), very enjoyable match 3 games, and enjoyable mini-games. The best thing I can probably say about this game is that I played it in just over 4 hours in one sitting, and it didn't seem like that much time had passed. Pro: + Great art + Great music + Very enjoyable hidden object scenes + Very enjoyable match 3 games + Enjoyable mini-games + Very little backtracking Con: - Difficulty getting it back into fullscreen mode after accidentally changing to window mode (had to close the game, then restart it and hit [ALT-ENTER] as the publisher logo appeared; clicking the fullscreen button on the options screen to re-enable fullscreen had no effect) - Crashed to desktop once (immediately after speaking with the blacksmith), but no data was lost Neutral: +/- Very heavy on match 3 games (pro if you like them, con if you don't)
Not a good story, hints do nothing, I find it tedious to play.
This game is relatively easy to navigate great for beginners
Schade.
I am tepid about this game. It's fairly inventive for something in the "match-3" and "hidden object" categories. But it's pretty slow-going for a game where nothing appears to be that difficult. It had too many match 3 exercises where the point was to match icons and nudge a specific icon down to the bottom. The point of these puzzles was certainly unclear, and they were only fun for a couple of minutes before they became outright tedious. Now that I have continued on I will reiterate that the match-3 puzzles which involve many, many matches to achieve some small goal, are enormously tedious, and there doesn't seem to be any end to them!
This is my least favorite of all the Far Kingdom games. I like HOG and Match 3 so was looking forward to the mix here. The HO scenes were just okay and the Match 3 mini games were a complete pain in the rear. No power-ups to help and the skip option took 3 times of refilling the meter to use; plus moving the pieces felt clunky. The entire game is mediocre but I did finish it so I guess for the price it's okay. Meh.
A short but fun Adventure/Hidden Object/Match 3 game. It doesn't need a map as there are only a few areas accessible at a time. It's more adventure than anything, but it's still fun. Get this one on sale!
