The Fangs Huntress is a retro-inspired first person shooter with a huge roster of monsters and bosses, with a fantastic array of weapons. The game puts you in the shoes of a demon hunter in search of the all-powerful vampire Vladislav!

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 26 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A bite-sized FPS with great variety in theming but lacking such in the gameplay The Fangs Huntress is a Retro FPS running in the EFPSE engine developed by Drop_Dead_Fred. It follows the titular Fangs Huntress as she fights through hordes of vampires, ghouls, and other monster to stop the great vampire Vladislav from taking over Transylvania. It's a fairly basic romp using very Wolfenstein 3D-esque gameplay but I held up a tad more than most thanks to it's variety in it's theme. As mentioned, The Fangs Huntress being a game in EFPSE using it's basic gameplay offerings as it's template for the 11 levels featured. Blocky rooms with enemies to shoot, unmarked secrets to find, and keys to collect for progression. A wide variety of enemies are also present but tend to either walk towards to you to melee or do the same thing but use a hitscan or protective attack. It's a completely serviceable gameplay loop but somewhat disappointing since I personally know what the engine can do. Even more so since the dev's later EFPSE game Dump of the Dead X while very similar to this gameplay "template" did a tad more to shake it up. Stylewise, the game visually looks straight out of that era of pre-Doom FPS games where it's a tad cartoon-y but wasn't afraid to get a tad violent and/or suggestive. And despite the game only have 11 levels as mentioned, there is a surprising amount of unique art assets made for the enemies, some level themes, etc. It makes it just a smidge more engaging to play through when you have something new to look at as you progress. Overall, The Fangs Huntress provides a interesting concept that's just held back by the engine it's in, Or more specifically, the engine is not being used to it's max potential. There's plenty of other EFPSE games on Steam that not only provide a more fluid and interesting experience, but are also a lot cheaper with their base price. But viewing this game as a cheap time killer, I enjoyed it for what it was.

Nice little retro style shooter. Has really nice pixel art and has a cool classic horror theme! Fun hour and half playthrough. Worth the £0.64 I paid for it!
🔥
Fun retro shooter with a really nice chunky pixel art style. Good variety of enemies and environments. Loved using the shotgun. Fairly easy difficulty until the final boss.
Try It Don't Be Prejudiced Nice Game :D No. This game is bad very bead. My gun was lost and It ain't coming to me
goood
This is a boomer shooter made by a adult/lewd game publisher and developer and honestly it's amazing that it works so well. Nothing here to innovative it just does what it needs to, a wolfenstein like with vertical mouse look. It should take you about 2 hours. There's no difficulty settings so probably be a one and done but if it's on sale for .99 cents i wouldn't call it a bad deal. For 4.99 it's a lil much. story and cutscenes look childish but theres enough variety in enemies to keep you entertained enough. 6 out of 10
I bought it for 0.74€ and I thought it was definitely worth it. But I would recommend it only when it's on sale, since you can get really fantastic indie games and even AAA titles for 5 bucks/Euros nowadays. It's a pretty basic but charming FPS with a lot of secret doors and pretty good variety of weapons and enemies. CONS • Level design is often too symmetrical. Especially the first level, after which there's a bit more variety in level layout. • I don't mind the heroine's voice being text-to-speech for this type of game but some SFX are pretty weak. • The game would have been so much better and more interesting with more verticality. There is some verticality after the first level but it's not used in the gameplay. So far, I haven't seen any stairs or anything. • I'm having trouble getting it to run in full screen mode. I know I need to restart the game after choosing full screen mode but the game only runs in the top left corner while my desktop wallpaper and icons can be seen to the right and the bottom. I tried starting the game in big picture mode and the game still ran in the top left corner but I could no longer see my desktop and icons. However, I could see the windows menu in the bottom. • Although I like this game, 4.99 is a bit too much to ask for this kind of indie title. Half the price would have been more resonable. PROS • It's a charming little FPS with nice and cute graphics. I like how the dev has created more variety in a simple way by using different sprites to create the illusion of shelves, paintings etc. That makes a big difference. • A lot of visual variety between the levels. • It's pure and simple. If you've played old-school FPS games, you know the drill. Shoot the monster, find the key, etc.
