Genuinely terrible: unable to progress in free-standing prologue, unable to progress in main game, very close to the start - and for the same reason. This game has possibly the least intuitive interface I've experienced in many years as a gamer. Avoid.
Pude disfrutarlo gracias a ello. 6/10
GUILTY You are aboard the USSC Lazarus, a cargo space ship. After having recently awoken from cryo sleep, you don't remember anything, including your own name. Explore the ship, uncovering the mysteries of why you're there and slowly descending into madness as you hallucinate memories of your past. Where is everyone? What am I doing here? Hopefully you'll be able to find out. Honestly, not so bad a game. It can be a little buggy though and could definitely use some polish when it comes to collisions as well as with the translations. Otherwise the voice acting is pleasant, the puzzles are mostly fun and the story is not bad. And it's free, so if my review convinced you, you have nothing to lose!
Game crashes after 1-2 min, tried different settings but no change. Followed some instructions I found online, no fix.
A strange game that is worth experiencing once. It has some good puzzles and the space station is good for exploration even though it's not the prettiest Unreal Engine game I've ever seen. There's some regret while playing this, in the knowledge that the game has had a very small audience and unfortunately it didn't work out for the studio. Regrettably I didn't really follow the plot, I got confused in many areas. Nonetheless, there's a hint at what might have been if the game has got out to more people and the developers then could have built on this and done something different or bigger. As it is, The Fall of Lazarus is now free but still I would never have heard of it if I hadn't stumbled across it in the Steam Labs. So you're left with essentially a historical artifact that few people have heard of. Like me, you may not be able to rebind the keys to a layout you like, but give it a try anyway, especially if you like space or sci-fi games, and try to ignore what is often quite cringey dialogue.
I agree with another review here in that the puzzles really weren't that great. I did like the number pad puzzle, but the description (muscle memory) was just plain wrong. Once I realized that and what it REALLY was, it's kind of a cool puzzle. Anyway, I played for a bit longer, and then got stuck on the stairs in the lighthouse TWICE. So I just gave up.
