Дізнався про гру від Падона. Українська гра українською мовою, так, як і має бути. Мінімалістична мальовка, спокійна музика. Зручний платформер. Подвійний стрибок, керованість в польоті, відсутня інерція руху після приземлення, все це дозволяє чітко скеровуватись та приземлятись куди потрібно. Основна зброя меч, та можна ще докупити вмінь. Хардкорність гри в тому, що кожен доторк ворога/вогню/шипів/булави віднімає серце, (котрих на початку всього три) і з останнім - рівень наново...

"The Fall of Eskaria" is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This one is a puzzle/brawler hybrid where you control a badly drawn "King" dude (at least it's not pixel "art") and use the awkward and badly managed controls to do rush attacks and wave your sword aimlessly at enemies to determine the developer doesn't know how to do hitboxes properly. And so we continue to enjoy the bottom end of the Steam store. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The artwork here is terrible, it's a hodge-podge of amateurish "My First Wacom Tablet" style drawings used instead professional looking game assets. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget to arrange someone who can create graphical assets properly, or lack of talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low, enough on its own to deter gamers. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. PC gamers will be insulted by the demand from the developer that a console peasant children's toy controller should be used, despite this being on PC. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're developing for, and must never, under any circumstances dictate to gamers how their games are to be experienced. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. The game is currently free, but the developers were charging money for it. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration, but this is also in some ways an acknowledgement that the game failed to achieve any commercial success (unsurprising due to the quality issues). It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. The quality here is simply too low for me to recommend, even for free. It's also worth noting the developer continues to sell keys for the game through third party sites despite the game being free, which is misleading and harmful to gamers. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.

маленька, простенька гра з цікавими босами і смішним фіналом :D з самого початку персонаж має тільки меч, але пізніше в торгівця можна купити три різні здібності, мені найбільше сподобався фаєрбол. Також в кожного трофею є свій опис, в основному про вовків :) з мінусів: сюжетні заставки надто швидко переключалися і я не встигав їх прочитати та надто гучний звук підбирання копійок

Простенька гра й одразу видно, що хотів сказати автор. Герой маленької країни йде проти імперії, шманає чмонь та ганяє попів. Доволі не погано, але гадаю, це більше формат гри на сматфон - пройти рівень поки в метро їдеш, або сидиш вночі в ванній бо за вікном "знову весна". Трохи одноманітна й не мій сорт ігор, але в автора потенціал є, бажаю автору натхнення та взятися за щось більш серйозніше та змістовніше.
