Seems very unpolished.... It mostly just froze my computer or showed me a blackscreen, so I had to play on windowed in a lower quality to get it to work. I doubt this is an issue with my setup. Starting with the good, the graphics are alright, above average when it comes to small unity indie games. The sound design is good too for the most part. UI and prompts are kinda mediocre, unfortunately. The gameplay however is pretty bad. The game establishes that you can turn on lights for exploration, but if the power runs out you get caught, for some reason. Shouldn't this be some kind of challenge? Like you have to turn on lights to find stuff, but leaving too many on can break the generator leaving you exposed. Oh that would require that light could be used as defense, of course, this isn't the case. While I am fantasizing, it would have nice if this one mechanic were consistent. Some light switches simply don't turn on, some doors don't open , some plugs don't work. Your phone is the other light source, and unless it's fully charged it's literally useless, since it barely emits any light. Finding keys is the central gameplay, they are so small and hard to see, that I just ran past furniture and pressed E continously to get it. I almost forgot, there is a monster, but it got stuck between rooms so many times, that I could see it easily, it's just a human model with a black texture. A little creativity? Also the game tells you stand still, yet the monster's pathfinding is broken so if you stand still in a doorway, the monster can't go through and will just try to walk, but since you are blocking him, neither of you will get anywhere. Also, if the monster touches you are teleported to another part of the house. Is that supposed to be a penalty? Shouldn't this be something that drains resources? It's just not thought out at all. It's not even scary, since half the time the monster touched I didn't even see it. There is also a story, which at least has some mystery to it, even if it's told through notes written by people, who would never say things like that. I liked that there was some effort put into a flashback, unfortunately it all feels unfinished and unpolished and nonsensical. Had zero interest in finding the last key, so I just looked at a walkthough for the code, at which point the game broke and I got a message, that I am not supposed to be there yet. WTF?? Maybe make the game more engadging then. Running around with broken flashlight in a boring house looking for almost invisible keys is the opposite of exciting. It's not like I glitched out, players looking up the doorcode is likely possibility with every game that has these. In conclusion: Is this game scary? No. Is it fun? No. Is it at least a little interesting? No...errr very very, very little. So, just don't bother with this broken game unless you enjoy half finished indie titles. There are better free horror games on itch.io.

I played through the game three times and overall wasn't all that impressed. I experienced multiple bugs that either dampened the gameplay or didn't allow me to progress at all. This would have been worth the time spent if it was free, but paying $5 is a little much for a buggy game with a weak narrative and an unenthused bad guy. Hopefully the can fix this game, maybe then I'd give it another shot.
The Entity is a first person horror adventure game where you're trapped in a haunted house. There's no reason such a reliable premise could fail, if implemented well. The Entity is not implemented well. It's been slapped together with Unity and features a lot of store bought assets. The general assembly of the game is sloppy and haphazard. The game maps PC gaming peripherals (HOTAS, Pedals, Racing Wheels etc) as if they are console peasant children's toy gamepads. This makes the player spin constantly in one direction and makes the game completely unplayable. There's no way to turn this off. This would have been picked up with basic testing on PC.
Game was done in less than an hour. Gameplay felt clunky and the challenge simply wasnt there. I expect more when I pay $5 for a game. Got a glitch where I could see one of the dream triggers before I walked into it. I get it, you guys are probably new to the game scene and you've got to build up your textures but this is not the way to make a splash in the world. Shame on you.
조작감 구리고, 그렇게 무섭거나 갑툭이 있는것도 아니네요.. 물론 있긴하지만.. 일단 영어 해석이 되야 이야기를 알수 있는게임입니다.
Finding it really frustrating to play this game. There's no in-game map which makes it hard to determine if/where you need to look for keys. The controls are very clunky and it's difficult to interact with lights and door as they will show up together. The premise of the game has some promise but it needs work.
While this is a short, indie, horror game which does have some bugs, it is worth a play through as it does have a free DLC and multiple endings. If you like short horror games that have a least a little bit of a story without all the jump scares then give this one a try!
It look like a great game but a have a capable pc with a great vga card and when i am truing to record the game with obs it cracks it is the first game that this is happening .And after the new version is even worse whats happening ?
For the fairly budget price of $5 for this game, I can personally recommend the Entity to anyone who enjoys first person horror games and is happy to try new develepors games.
