About
The new version of this game is called Surfers Code and has upgraded islands, graphics, and story. Check it out.
Get ready to experience the thrill of surfing as Bruce Brown intended in his iconic movie The Endless Summer. The film took you to exotic surf locations around the world, and now you can immerse yourself in a surf adventure with The Endless Summer - Search For Surf. Explore the islands, and discover new breaks, like the Endless Summer adventurers, and now you can participate, be the surfer, and ride the waves.
Learn to surf at the forgiving beginner breaks, follow the tips and advice of friendly local surfers, take your jet ski to explore the islands, find new waves, and adventures. But there is no need to travel alone. Bring a friend and share your experience in this two player split screen experience. As your skills improve on the variety of waves and secret spots throughout the archipelago, you will find yourself mastering advanced surfing skills such as, radical tailslides, hard off the lip schwacks, styley cutbacks, insane airs, and cool tube rides. When you are confident in your surfing ability, at any time you can challenge your friend to a professional surf league style contest.
Unique Features:
1. Duck diving.
2. Wave catching.

Being in an alpha version for a while, this game is a good concept of surfing simulator game, but in a horrible bad stance for now. The main mechanics is broken and needs a lot of patience to actually catch a wave. You can ride a jet ski though and wander around the island, but that's it for now. Honestly, SfS has employed some ideas that have never been done in a surfing game. 1) open world 2) positioning in the lineup 3) no hand holding on where to be when you stand up 4) leaderboards Yes, it's crude, yes, it's very very alpha...but I'll probs play over 2 hours in this game in its current state. Looking forward to seeing where they go with this. And you can tell it's made by folks who actually might surf.
The idea is good, but at this moment the game is not working very well. Also there is not much to do. Watch here: https://youtu.be/eBFyOO6vOCg

Only played this game for 2 hours and had a good fun time.Graphics are a bit pointed but seem to work ok.Having a little trouble getting use to the take off and getting my first turn in .So like surfing in the real world I will get better I hope with more practice.Really like the open air approach of this game you can leave your board on the beach and explore the islands. When you tire of boardriding get on a jet ski and hit the waves anywhere on the map. Another unique feature is when you are in the line up you can have a limited one way conversation with the other surfers both female and male.Perhaps this aspect could be expanded a bit with more talking to make the game more realistic. Some tropical surfing type music like an instumental band playing Wipeout an old surfing song would add some atmosphere to the game. At $12.95 it is reasonably priced and out of the water surfers or any gamers will enjoy.
The waves are nice, the surfer can surf. I recommend buying this game. Although in early release, it is playable and updates flow very often. As you look into the face of a clean glassy wave, you can carve it up. The Surfer is smooth and fluid while surfing. you can carve, do cutbacks and generally surf on a wave. I hope other people support this game as the developer clearly surfs and can translate this into a surfing game. Personally i was not initially impressed in the idea of travelling and searching for spots, but the implementation of this principle is really good. You can find all sorts of varied waves on the world map. As it is early release, expect a game that is not fully complete. but the surfing works really well. The entry screen and navigation menu is functional.
Pretty nice game to wonder around the map and visit some gnarly places but the surfing mechanics needs a lot of work Graphics - 4/10 Gamplay - 7/10 User Friendly - 5/10
This game is open world, offers multiplayer and surfing. There's very few surfing simulators out there to begin with. Yes, it takes time to learn and get good, and hopefully it'll be better once the game is fully launched. For ealy acces, this game has a lot of potential. Also 2 player splitscreen is nice. Still needs full controller support. For $10, try it. The Jet-Skis are also a lot of fun.
Still very undeveloped and supppppper glitchy
i love this game please improve it!
