Enter the world of The Eminence in Shadow: Master of Garden, a multiplayer, narrative driven, action-RPG where players form their own party from a deep roster of unique characters, voiced by the actors from the anime, and engage in new stories, to take down the world-threatening Cult of Diabolos.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

Pretty good game, until you realize they don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about you, they're gonna tell you something and do the exact opposite, this Armageddon was supposed to be cancel (most important monthly event, that gives really good rewards) and rewards were supposed to be the same for everyone, because there was an issue where some IOS players weren't able to login at all during that time. And we just realized today that they gave rewards depending on rankings, when most guilds didn't not and some couldn't not compete and try as hard. That could have been fine since they are not the best at CS and we know it, but they told us before it starts that it was canceled. Do not play, it's not worth your time, nor your money.
good way to promote the anime but the pc port is so at disadvatages with lack of feats like camera, the game is also actually nothing essential on plot, dull skin/SP characters, just auto battler like normal cheap gatcha games.

I've played enough gatcha games to know and tolerate the normally present flaws like confusing menu navigation and persistent peddling of micro transactions; that just goes with the territory. Where Eminence fails and fails hard is that it's boring, something I never expected given my familiarity with the source material. Yet the story just crawls and the side-stories are even worse. This could have been a fun ride, but missed the mark.
is a really good game losts of good characters and the game play is also good
sh*t game but i love the anime and love side stories so its 10/10
Played this game for over a year. It's a basic Gacha game at best. It'll take you months to farm enough gems to get free pulls, and even then, it won't get you far: most units are bad unless you awaken them, which involves multiple pulls. There's also the power creep, where the "meta" gets replaced with new units, to force you to continue dumping money into the game in order to stay with the whales, otherwise you're toast. Dark Knight Duels occur once a month and it's annoying battles that amounts to: I hope most of the enemies aren't green element, or I'm in for a bad time. Armageddon occurs once a month and is guild VS guild. You'd figure on paper it's all about clearing bosses as fast as you can (Partially right), but it's mostly sitting in discord with other players and every 5 minutes you can attack a boss. SUPER fun and engaging gameplay. This game's only saving grace was the event quest stories, but ONLY if you like the IP, and I mean REALLY like it. Otherwise you're skipping cutscenes, since none of it is technically canon to universe atm, so anything going on may or may not actually matter.
He who lurks in and hunts the shadows.
The only reason you're playing this is if you give a ♥♥♥♥ about the girls from the series. Because otherwise this is some really grindy ♥♥♥♥. Everything after this line is generated by Claude, because I just don't even have the energy to bother trying to critique this. And I knew that going in. Still dropped forty hours and fifty bucks on it without ever deciding to. Combat's full auto, so there's nothing to actually get good at, just numbers hitting numbers while you watch the same three animations on repeat. The grind is the standard five-currencies-five-modes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and the gacha rates are the same 3% garbage every one of these games runs, pity dangled just close enough to make "one more pull" feel reasonable. I'm not even mad at the game anymore. I'm mad at myself for knowing exactly how this works and doing it anyway. Cid and the girls getting their voiced scenes is the one part that was worth it. Everything else is just the industry being the industry, and me, tired, forty hours deep, letting it.
you can barely do anything without paying money, unless you play for over a year. The playerbase is nice and nobody who plays this game likes this game, we all wish we could escape. 10/10 absolutely worth it if you hate yourself
literally all my time has been spent in the download screen
