This game does not run on Win10. The reason is that it is a kind of Flash game and is not compatible with Win10. See the discussion in http://steamcommunity.com/app/506840/discussions/2/

I'm enjoying this game quite a bit. Combat is fun, especially with some of the newer updates that have been pushed out by the devs. It seems to be a harder game if you want to play as a pure wizard but then maybe I'm just better as a warrior type or some type of blend in between. The retro look works well, on some levels better than others, and there can be a few frame rate issues sometimes but nothing too bad. The game seems to be getting frequent updates so I think any issues will get resolved (if they haven't been already). The new gem bag is great, it means less items taking up space in the backpack. The crafting skills do pay off in this game so I'd add a point or two into them as you level up. All things considered I would say, recommended. And good value, too. I've still got a long way to go before I finish it.
This game is very peculiar, it merge two close but at the same time different genres, ARPG and top down shooter. This game is rad thanks
"The Dungeons of Castle Madness" is an older game from 2016. It's a venerable 9 years old at the time of this review, but it feels more like it's from 2006. This is a very strange hybrid of 2D top down brawler and Might & Magic/Eye of the Beholder style CRPG. You view tha game world in the old obligue 2.5d view you expect from games like Legend of Grimrock, but the combat is a weird, badly made 2D top down brawler... and this hybridisaiton doesn't work at all. It looks like a lot of effort went into designing the RPG and gameplay systems, but unfortunately hard work isn't necessarily quality work. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The graphics aren't great. The game graphics are a weird mess of low quality 3D assets, weird textures, oversaturated jpegs and pixelesque "art" for the top down brawling component. I don't think there's any area of this frankenstein's monster of a game that looks decent, unfortunately. That will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. There's not much in the way of visual tweaks, you only get two low res options and "native resolution" which isn't guaranteed to be your native resolution... so that's a fail. There's no way to guarantee this will look right on your display. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. "The Dungeons of Castle Madness" has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is "Mousenstein", raising a mouse from the dead, the first thing one of the classes can do, trivial to achieve, but less than 2 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 110,000+ games on Steam? "The Dungeons of Castle Madness" is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 14,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
I like the story line, I enjoyed fighting the beetles however I died at that first dragon! pretty cool how the game switches from 3D to top-down. I will keep fighting the good fight.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very good for first game made, but needs some minor fixes. If you like retro-style games and prefer playing them the hardcore old-school way, this is for you. Easy to get in, the controls work very intuitevely and the parts didn't go like I first thought they should were easy to learn. The combat was done differently from games like Eye of the Beholder or Dungeon Master, otherwise is like those classics.
I've had 50+ games on this PC and this is the only one which doesn't work :(
21 год назад вышел первый альбом Bring Me the Horizon Осенью 2004 года, на свет появился мини-альбом «This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For» группы Bring Me the Horizon.
