Thanks for the fog level, and a soft lock at the end. It's amazing, I love it.
A disorienting first person teleport with no guide for where it'll end up, not even background details, just a featureless void to platform around trying to hit small targets to refresh the teleport so you can chain them, inside the first 10 minutes of the game? That's a no from me.

This game isn't very good. And that's disappointing, because I wish I could like this game. The exploration is... alright. None of the areas feel very special or distinct, and for a game about doors leading to weird places, I wish they had more personality. The platforming is bad. It's just very janky, and doesn't feel good at all. The real problem is in the Blink ability, which is horrid. It's very difficult to tell where you're going to end up; it would have been much better as a dash instead of an odd teleport ability. The combat is somehow worse. Hold Attack until the enemy dies. You can also Blink through the enemy, which turns combat into a slog of use Blink, turn around, wait for Blink to recharge, then use it again. The writing is forgettable. It's not something so bad I'll stop and point it out ever, but it's not at all special either. Overall, I understand I didn't get very far through the game, but I certainly don't want to play any more of it. Maybe I'll update this review if I ever feel like launching it again, but I doubt it.
Good game. Short, decent gameplay, good content, simple but interesting level/map design (easy to navigate and search for stuff), interesting story (maybe cliche, but it doesn't mean its not good). The battle against monster/bosses a bit confusing and hard as hell in the beginning, with all the blink/dash/teleport/etc. Took a little while for me to understand and take a liking to the fighting style. Definitely a game you should try, specially because its free. I had only one issue with the gameplay: the mouse/aim behaves weirdly when you collect stuff and sometimes when you get hit, changing the direction abruptly.
FOR FREE??? high-skill engaging combat, gives you many tools and the ability to be creative in how you use them to fight, puzzle, and explore the world. dreamlike setting is awesome if you like liminal spaces or 3d low-poly retro environments. soundtrack and story contribute great to the experience, and it's worth unlocking the true ending. far more effort and creativity than most games i've actually had to pay for. about 4 hours to 100%, easy to complete in one long sitting. best free singleplayer game i've ever played by a long shot
I was completely blindsided by this. I really wasn't expecting much but damn it was worth every second.
