The Demon Within Me

I bought this game a while back and rediscovered it... Holy, tedious, boring , unending crap. There were a few tense moments til i realized nothing was going to happen. endless running around a square house to trigger a checkpoint, lost in the dark for no particular reason other than to hear a crucified dude wrapped in a head sheet. then a miserably boring walk through the woods to find a fiery accident scene that you may or may not have caused. then just nothing, darkness in the woods, looking for a clue that never comes. did I pay 2 bucks? i want my 2 dollars. CRAP.. IM DEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. 5 thumbs down

A short and sweet game with a strong sense of purpose. Awesome atmosphere, strong jumpscares, and a sense of depth that can sometimes escape titles of the genre. I really enjoyed this!

Im ersten Moment wirkt das Game nicht sonderlich besonders. Die Parts zur Überbrückung ziehen sich teilweise etwas in die Länge und als dann der reale ♥♥♥♥ losging, war ich kurzzeitig mal aufgrund von Orientierungsproblemen etwas out of order bei dem Game. Das Ende hat es dann doch sehr stark - auch storytechnisch - rausgerissen und stimmte sowohl mich, als auch die Bangerz im Stream sehr nachdenklich, ob man nun Mitleid mit dem Protagonisten haben sollte oder nicht. Das Game ist definit nichts für schwache Nerven (TW: Suizid) und die Atmosphäre geht hier weniger vom Setting aus, sondern kommt mehr von den Hintergründen der Story.
