8/10 - 奶子很色。一開始對艾瑪最無感,最後對艾瑪最有感。社報。
Got the game thinking it be more RPGish but I was wrong. Over all I had some fun with the game however I can not recommend this very shallow game unless its considerably discounted, there just isent enough to the game to justify its price. The Bad: The game is more of a Visual Novel with bare bones of a game behind it. The quest aspect of the game is terrible with repeating the same "Quests" over and over. The CGs are so grossly over used that the dialog dosen't even match whats on screen at times. The story is weak and predictable with a meh ending. The Good: The CG's were nice but over used as I stated before. I liked the characters even though they had many generic traits/troupes. It was also nice to get the appended stories after you finish the game. If you are looking for more of an RPG style I would recommend Renryuu Ascension or Meltys Quest.
刷得人太累,但福利不错。
cg很好,基本没有剧情有后日谈,我觉得应该算个拔作

The Demon Lord is New in Town! is a fantasy role-playing adventure developed by Daijyobi Institute and published by Kagura Games. Rather than beginning with a powerful ruler poised to conquer kingdoms, the story takes a more unusual direction by introducing Van, a defeated demon lord who has lost the vast majority of his powers and is forced into exile. Accompanied by his devoted companion Aira, he must start over in the human world, learning how to survive while searching for a way to reclaim the strength that was taken from him. This reversal of expectations gives the narrative an engaging foundation, transforming what could have been another conventional fantasy tale into a journey centered on rebuilding, self-improvement, and adapting to an unfamiliar life. Instead of relying primarily on combat, the game places considerable emphasis on resource management and character progression. Players spend much of their time gathering materials, completing assignments, managing daily activities, and steadily improving Van's abilities through experience and careful planning. Every completed quest contributes to meaningful progression, while the gradual expansion of available tasks keeps the adventure moving forward at a satisfying pace. The systems encourage players to think strategically about how they spend their time and resources rather than rushing through objectives, making every small achievement feel valuable as Van slowly works toward restoring his former greatness. Relationships are another major pillar of the experience. Throughout the adventure, Van meets numerous individuals whose stories become intertwined with his own. Building friendships is more than an optional feature, as these connections unlock additional events, strengthen the narrative, and reinforce the game's central message that true power is earned through trust and cooperation rather than fear alone. The dialogue maintains a humorous and lighthearted tone for much of the adventure, allowing the characters to develop naturally while balancing moments of comedy with sincere emotional growth. Even though the protagonist is a former demon lord, the story often feels surprisingly wholesome, focusing on community and companionship instead of endless conflict. The presentation complements the game's relaxed atmosphere with colorful anime-inspired artwork and expressive character illustrations that give each personality its own identity. Towns, environments, and menus are cleanly designed, making exploration and resource management easy to follow without overwhelming the player. While the visuals are not intended to compete with large-scale AAA productions, they successfully support the game's charming tone and storytelling. The soundtrack also contributes to the experience by creating a pleasant backdrop that suits both the peaceful moments of exploration and the more significant narrative events. Players expecting a fast-paced action RPG should understand that The Demon Lord is New in Town! prioritizes gradual progression over constant excitement. Much of the enjoyment comes from managing resources efficiently, strengthening relationships, and watching Van steadily recover from his downfall. The slower pace may not appeal to everyone, especially those looking for nonstop battles, but players who appreciate simulation elements blended with traditional RPG mechanics will likely find the gameplay loop rewarding. The sense of accomplishment grows naturally as new opportunities, quests, and upgrades become available, making long-term progression one of the game's strongest qualities. Ultimately, The Demon Lord is New in Town! succeeds because it embraces a different interpretation of the fantasy genre. Rather than telling the story of an unstoppable villain seeking domination, it follows a humbled former ruler who must rediscover his purpose through perseverance, friendship, and hard work. The combination of resource management, quest-driven progression, relationship building, and lighthearted storytelling creates an experience that feels both relaxing and engaging. Although its deliberate pacing and management-focused gameplay may not satisfy every RPG fan, those willing to invest in its systems will discover a charming adventure filled with personality and steady rewards. It is an enjoyable title that successfully blends simulation mechanics with fantasy role-playing while offering an entertaining cast and a refreshing narrative perspective. Rating: 7/10
