The Defender: Farm and Castle 2 is an easy-to-play game suitable for everyone. It combines elements of castle defense and shooting games, with enemies attacking from both the left and right, including ground and flying foes. Each time you upgrade the castle, powerful enemy bosses appear. Additionally, dungeon battles can summon boss enemies as well.
It's time to defend the castle from enemies! Let’s defeat the bosses and earn achievements!

WAYYY too costly for what you get out of the game. I'd say it has 2-6 hours of decent content, but overall it's lacking upgrades/stronger mobs/more to do on a major level. Even if this game was free I think I would still be unimpressed with the lack of progress/content. (Two towers/1 kind of weapon / twp unites, all upgrades are done via a scroll that drops no choice in the upgrades just an increase in speed/dmg) *Edit I have 30+ hours because I ran it overnight to get millions of resources just to really push the limits of what they had to offer*

I thought it would be a great game because I did like the first one but this is embarrassing, it really doesn't matter wtf you do here you just get fcked anyways out of nowhere. For no reason really enemys randomly get strong af and I'm talking like hitting them 5min to kill ONE. Somehow not a single boss spawned either in the last 5 hours although I did upgrade the chance to 10%. Big mistake buying this crap, gotta stay with the free ones, always the better ones here.
"The Defender: Farm and Castle 2" is kind of the worst ripoff of Kingdom: New Lands from Temu that you ever saw. This is a side view TD/soldier attack/defense hybrid where you own a castle, a bunch of monsters come running at you so you need to buy towers and soldiers and let them autobattle it out. Yawn... it's been done a million times more. This does have the Kingdoms like gimmick where you need to focus in two directions at the same time, which is something. Childlike amateur graphics and otherwise weak technical implementation on-par (or below) many Adobe Flash games drops this far beneath PC game standards. So this looks like an old 1990's Adobe Flash game that you might play in a web browser, and the problem there is obviously Steam wasn't intended to try compete with Chrome and Firefox. If it can be done in a web browser, it's not even close to a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That's a problem. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. This game is fairly dated at 7 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $13 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. A peak of 10 concurrent players (according to SteamDB) for a "free" game is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential players here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". That level of rejection speaks a lot for the quality of the game. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? I think you should give this one a miss. Although it's free, your time and storage are valuable resources, and the market is filled with superior options.
Very good game (3x times to play, automatically restarted after unlock) and beat all bosses and completed with 100%. It's very addiction game! :)
It's a fun, small game. Not a ton of content, but overall I enjoyed my time with it. Took me about 9 hours to 100%, but you could probably do it in less.
