About
Delouse your room with sage and pack up your travel-sized ouija board, it’s time to re-enter Twin Lakes - America’s 34th most haunted city. Join Detective McQueen as he puzzles his way through 9 chilling cases, risking life and pixelated limb to solve the macabre mysteries that plague the poor town.
Twin Lakes is a cursed city. Less cursed than say, “Demons are tearing it apart” but more cursed than “always loses its keys” or “often steps in puddles”. It’s roughly in the middle of the cursed scale, is what we’re trying to say.
Cursed enough that it’s a nuisance. Cursed enough that somebody has to deal with it…
That’s where The Darkside Detective comes in. Whenever you hear a bump in the night, feel a tingle up your spine, or smell something fishy, Detective Francis McQueen isn’t far behind.
No, he doesn’t smell of fish - it’s a phrase, come on...
Picking up after the events of The Darkside Detective, McQueen has to save his usually-present (in body, if not mind) sidekick Officer Dooley from the Darkside, so the two can get back to what they do best - investigating the city’s many strange, often paranormal, always paradoxical goings-on.
Join them in this frighteningly funny point-and-click adventure as they investigate nine more standalone cases bringing them to a carnival, the local retirement home, an amateur wrestling circuit and even as far away as Ireland as they do what they can to keep the Darkside at bay.

Reviews
谜题较一代更复杂了,不过解开的那一刻非常爽!场景的小细节非常棒,音乐很有沉浸感,总体令人满意。期待下一部会更好!
Nice
Good fun!
Another charming excellent entry. At times, it was a lot harder, especially in cases where there were more locations and clues. I really liked the bonus cases, especially the one where different playable characters are the protagonists.
比上一作剧情流畅多了但是线索感觉更多了TT还是很好玩推荐推荐!!!
I bought this sequel immediately after having a great time with the original. And this sequel is precisely what a good sequel should be: Similar enough to the original that there's no learning curve at all for returning gamers, yet with enough new material to keep the sequel from feeling like a mere remake. The mood is the same, as well. Goofy fun, hilarious wordplay, and some kooky settings that had me giggling before a word was spoken. The difficulty level is a tad higher, but only just a tad. The cases are noticeably longer, and there are a few moments of unfun moon-logic and/or CEWEE (Click Everything with Everything Else), but only a few. All in all, Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark is a perfectly worthy sequel that delivers all the fun of the original. If there's ever a third, take my money! Blease!
谜题太复杂,提示太少很难懂,不看教程基本上过不去,除了圣诞节那关,比第一部流程多了一倍,剧情不错,侦探和警察两个人感情更深了,就是可玩性不高,但是细节不错很多彩蛋。
There are 9 cases and some bonus cases to play. There is a quirky sense of humor, and will make you laugh. It helps to play the first game first, but you don't have to in order to enjoy this game.
An excellent sense of humor; puzzles are challenging enough without becoming frustrating; world is surprisingly internally consistent for something that's fundamentally a comedy game
