A group of documentary film makers receive a mysterious call inviting them to a modern-day replica of serial killer H.H. Holmes ‘Murder Castle’. But on arrival they soon discover they’re being watched, and even manipulated, and suddenly there is much more at stake than just their ratings…

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

The Devil in Me is the fourth entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology, which is a series of standalone horror games. All these titles share some things in common. They are mostly narrative games with choices and consequences, with QTEs and puzzles in the mix. They are on the shorter side, but designed for multiple playthroughs, since there are a lot of variations. Probably the most unique aspect is the online co-op story, since each player experiences one of two perspectives, each with their own choices. In single-player, they are represented by the Theatrical Cut (standard) and Curator's Cut (alternative) modes. Add to these collectibles and achievements, and there’s plenty to experience if you want 100%. Each game has 5 different protagonists, and all feature the Curator, a central figure who is a sort of narrator. The Devil in Me could’ve been the best game in the series so far. It returns to the slower, more psychological horror, with tension and some jump scares. The main setting is compelling: a murder hotel filled with traps and contraptions controlled by a serial killer, inspired by H. H. Holmes, considered to be America’s first serial killer. Gameplay is expanded, with more vertical mobility, exploration, and puzzles. However, while not a bad game by any means, I was disappointed. I think the biggest culprit is the pacing. First, it takes a long time for the horror stuff to properly begin in the hotel. And second, the expanded exploration and puzzle sections feel like padding just to extend the playtime. The previous games also have them, but they’re shorter and don’t detract from the experience like they do here. And the story and characters are just alright, a downgrade when compared to House of Ashes. But overall, this is still a decent game that I can recommend on sale. I just expected more.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 27: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

зачёт
So far, this is the weakest entry in the series, both in terms of story and graphics. Character details are excellent and the interior design is decent; however, the same cannot be said for the outdoor environments—especially the opening shots where we are introduced to the protagonists. The story itself is interesting and involves the gradual uncovering of details regarding an old case. Unfortunately, the characters are unengaging, and their actions are illogical and predictable. The main antagonist does not come across as menacing, save for a few unexpected appearances. Overall, the game feels unpolished and superficial. While fans of the series will likely enjoy it, previous titles—and *Little Hope* in particular—remain unsurpassed. 6,5/10
Really I wish I could get my money back this is the worst modern day slop I've ever seen. To compare this to any of the Dark Picture games is a crime. How do the models look worse then the O.G. Until Dawn. This is the most boring game I have ever played I fell asleep with the controller in my hands. I own every title from this studio but I wish I didn't own this.
only dark pictures game that was a chore to get through
sadece bir bug yüzünden oyun oynanmaz hale geldi, hala düzeltilmemiş olması da çok saçma 4 yıllık oyun bu
