If you can get past the bad literal English translation then you'll be OK. If you don't like bad English in games then don't buy it. The actual game itself is quite good. The graphics are reasonable and the background music is fine. If you've played the first chapter then you'll like this one, which I did. I enjoyed the story I found myself liking the main character. The other female characters were kind of wooden. There is a fair amount of sexual content in the game and also some gore. Although the gore is not on par with the likes of Outlast 2. What I would like to see in further chapters, - More depth to the main character. - The sexual violence is more against female characters, which can be a bit disturbing. Perhaps a 50/50 split would balance it out a little. - Better English dialog.
I tried playing this game but its so difficult to see anything.
me recommending this, is very much based on my enjoyment of the dark content that it has. as there is a lack of it in such a visually defined way in gaming as a whole. GAMEPLAY point&click with animations. compared to part 1. this definitely could be improved. many times i click and the character goes in the wrong direction, sometimes out of a room even for no good reason. if it wasn't for also having WASD/Arrow movement on top of the mouse. it could have gotten VERY frustrating. but interacting with anything else worked fine. in my first playthrough there were 2 occasions where i could no leave a room i was in. the "exit" symbol would not appear no matter where i looked. it was fine on a replay though. at chapter 3 there were areas where the camera is zoomed out more than normal, during these times reading the text on screen was harder. chapter 4 is almost nonexistent, its crazy short and empty. literally about 3-4 small rooms of traveling and that's it! while the game has choices, i never really felt like they impacted the game. it was mostly (1 exception) a 1 and done deal. i mean after a choice is made and the immediate dialog and such is over. it doesn't seem to have any effect later. so honestly the advertisement of choices effect your journey, doesn't seem like a good description. there are VERY few choices as well! for the most part i think the "pixel hunting" issue has been improved, but there were times i had no idea an item was in a place because it was part of another event. required clicking on the right spot of something for example. some things are also small,so take your time and examine the area or you may miss something, most times it is visible! SOUND Male lead is very much inexperienced to voice acting. there is a severe lack of passion and delivery of lines.it's almost funny sometimes. however i will give some praise to the volume. unlike episode 1 i can actually hear him this time around despite still not having any settings for sound. so there was improvement. SPOILERS!!! STORY!!! (Dialog needs improvement!) Here i just want to be able to complain about things. so...Episode 1. you meet a girl in a forest who is alone and looking for her sister that's been missing for ? days at the very least...she is probably worried and scared and then some guy(you) appears there basically in the middle of nowhere. and she offers to sleep together which may lead to sex. i can believe fantasy elements for the sake of an interesting story. but this is a realistic idea and it was nonsense...in no way could i accept that she has ANY sexual desire in her current mindset...her sister could be injured or dead for all she knows and she just decides to have sex with a stranger!? this is ludacris! the only "fair" thing about this is that you do get a choice here. but honestly. i don't think there should even be one unless its because you forced her. but for some reason your character is basically the only living male in the story who isn't completely evil. then there is a moment near the end of chapter 2, where you jump a gap which destroys the actual world record for horizontal jumps...and none who do this jump are olympic athletes...they just decided gravity would turn off for a little while. ALL OF CHAPTER 3! how can a real society exist when everyone is crazy/cruel! is there a curse or something happening!? you mys well call that town Gotham! and the fire! the girls would be dead many times over with how long it took you to get inside...why didn't we just get a axe and open the door!? or ask for ANYONES help!? this was incredibly absurd that no one would help here unless there was a fictional reason for it! CLOSING phew...done ranting, as i said at the start, because of the atmosphere. The right kind of person can enjoy this. but its definitely not for most people. it was powerful where it shined. but the weaknesses are very obvious.
Game is pretty decent. It's really gripping some animations and "It might be usefull" parts are feel a little bit slow. Game is actually hard to progress you need to know what to do so game could have some kind of tip thing that character could give you tips about what you need to do. Horror-Erotica is nicely implemented to the game better than first chapter and now i'm looking forward fot chapter 3.
After playing and enjoying the first one, I can honestly say that this one is at least 2x better. Congrats to the developer. It runs a lot better and still has his signature game style. Solid 8/10 For a small developer, they actually listen to the audience and have delivered an outstanding game. Not played many like it.
