The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics is a turned based RPG that I enjoyed. The story is based off of Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal movie and television show on Netflix, which I am planning to watch after beating the game. The game was pretty simple, but as I made it to the mid-game, I noticed that there was a severe balancing issue in the game with the AI. I started playing on normal difficulty but had to lower it and it was still pretty hard. Basically enemies became damage sponges and they would constantly use stuns or other status moves to make attacking them almost impossible. The story was very shallow, if you were going to understand what was going on you would need to watch the Netflix show. That all being said, I did enjoy the intricate job system and pairing abilities to make the best loadout.
If you enjoy games like Final Fantasy Tactics and love the wonderful world of Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal, this game is for you.
This game was made specifically for me (the number one gelfling fan of all time), which is why everyone else hates it. I love my dark crystal slop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very good game. We don't have enough "Dark Crystal" stuff !
