About
Six weeks ago, the military discovered a location that... doesn't exist. It appears to be a pastry shop named Cloudberry Lane, but something is deeply, DEEPLY wrong with it, and it's not a real bakery.

Your job? Enter this anomalous zone, explore around the building, find the military's ten gemstones, and exit out the way you came. As the chapters progress, you slowly find creatures in your surroundings that want to harm you. Each creature has a unique way of fending it off, but they get angrier and angrier as you collect more gems and discover more about this perplexing mystery.

This game is a point-and-click survival horror game by The Theorizer. It consists of rapidly clicking between pre-rendered static rooms to find small, hidden gemstone icons. However, where you click, and when you click, also depends on which enemy is targeting you at a given moment. Sort of like FNAF meets 'Emily Wants to Play' meets iSpy.

This is a very short game, and each of the eight chapters could theoretically be completed in mere minutes. This is very unlikely, given the difficulty spike, but the experience is free nonetheless.

Well I beat all the levels in about an hour. A couple things to point out: the static screen affect on the start screen does hurt my eyes a bit, and being able to control the overall volume would be nice if added. The volume of the creature sound cues seemed just the right volume in comparison to everything else though. Made me jump the first few times. The dialog is very hard to make out in places. I didn't understand that the voice said I needed to collect 13 of the items instead of 10 until after I had reached 10 and it didn't let me leave and then listening to the voice a few more times. Either subtitles or clearer recordings would be nice. I also didn't really understand the after level mini games? They seemed rather pointless to me. The only thing that frustrated me was the face creature you had to click in order to leave a room. It doesn't always spawn in right away and if you're scanning a room a little more thoroughly (because they are small and can blend into the background really well sometimes) sometimes it will spawn in and then you don't have time to click on it before the creature that doesn't like you staying still will get ya. Same with the standing one I've dubbed Lenny. (It just looks like a Lenny) The annoyance with the face creature is most evident in the later chapters/levels because you have even less time to react to everything. (Oh and I kept accidentally opening up tabs because I would sometimes panic click on the bottom of the screen and just miss the arrow completely >o>. Would like a full screen option) Overall, the game wasn't terrible. Definitely needs more to it if it's ever going to be a paid product and no longer free though. My main tactic for the majority of the game (after figuring out how the creatures worked) was to check one room and then spam click all the way back to the striped entrance room before continuing on to check the other rooms until I found the item. Completed the last chapter without even seeing a glimpse of that entrance creature. Basically, the difficulty only comes with how fast you are able to click and how good your eyesight is. There isn't really any skill involved other than to figure out the strategy to not get got by the creatures. For its current price of free, I'd say its still work checking out and giving a try.

I usually interact with horror games by watching Youtubers play them, but when the Youtuber is the one that MADE the game, I guess I have to man up and actually play it. Definitely a lot of potential in this. I'm only a couple of levels in, but so far the "collect 10 gems, rinse and repeat" gameplay loop gets a bit stale, I imagine with more enemies it's more tense but even then, I'm just randomly clicking through rooms looking for the next one, it can get frustrating instead of scary real quick. In fact I was stuck for several minutes because I didn't even realize there was an area I could go to. (The room with the window, you can go right in there to go out into the yard I think it is, didn't realize you could at first). Maybe make it so you need 3 gems on the first level, and the more levels you go the more gems you need, or something to up the stakes as the levels go on. I definitely like the setting, "a pastry shop that doesn't exist." Could use a bit more decoration and context, at the moment it feels a bit incoherent. I do like the dimensional anomalies in some of the rooms. Also I appreciate how the monsters seem to be from the abyss instead of being some sort of mascot horror.
Was fun The level of difficulty on chapter 8 felt nice The entities showed up on a rly predictable timer making it less spooky.
Вроде бы есть жуткая и даже некая "сверхъестественная" атмосфера, но игра идёт ♥♥♥♥♥ из-за ебучих таймингов и рандома.
The game itself is fun, but I would like an option that makes atleast the gems more visible.
Very fun game
its a very fun game ngl but i hate that cant play it full screen im always opening chrome or spotify when im trying to go down
really fun the start of the game was hard to understand as the rubys are hard to see in some spots but overall really good horror game.
Absolutely amazing game!
Just beat the game, final cutscene was cool, but I don't think it explained as much as I thought? Other than that, I only died a few times on chapters 4-7 through tiny mistakes regarding the long nosed guy. Still, very good game regardless, excited for any updates, like maybe subtitles, or a reward for beating the game. Edit: just beat chapter 8 while collecting all 50 blue specks, ggs.
