About
THE CANON OF BALLS is the hardcore, first-person platforming experience you and your friends have been waiting for. Imagine putting Shadow of the Colossus' PS2 aesthetics and Monkey Ball's gameplay into a blender and mixing them thoroughly. What comes out is an easy-to-learn, hard-to-master open-world multiplayer experience to explore and master together with your friends. A vast open world, with each platforming track bringing its own interesting twist, is waiting for you — all of this with no hand-holding. There are no minimaps, quest markers, or tutorials.
The game can also be completed in offline solo mode. No friends required.
I put a lot of work into the sound design to give the BALLS as much weight as possible, all to create a snappy gameplay experience with memorable juice. The world is fully "handcrafted" to be a non-repetitive, non-modular open world. I purposely didn't build a modular "copy and paste" kit to craft the levels. All of the parkour courses feature a specific idea, twist, or thought to make sure everything feels fresh in a different way. No AI art assets have been used.
From the start, I knew THE CANON OF BALLS should be something to experience with friends. Without setting any rules or multiplayer objectives, the world provides its own platform to give birth to fun, memorable, virtual togetherness. The premise was the good old days of playing Minecraft parkour maps and talking about all kinds of things while you struggled together. You can be competitive and see who reaches a crystal first, or play more cooperatively, navigating together and waiting for each other. The freedom is in the hands of the group, and I can't wait to see how you all choose to play it. The word "co-op" might be a bit stretched for the game, as there are no real mechanics that require multiple players—it all works solo. However, the true social moments are what make this experience so special.

Amazing game, for the price of a coffee, you get ~3 hours of really fun and interesting gameplay. I don't really agree with the Monkey Ball comparison; the only thing these two games have in common is that you control a ball, but that's not a negative. The game gets more challenging in the later stages, but it never gets annoying. The checkpoints are fair, and the game feels a little Foddian in the best way possible. You are afraid of dropping down, but you don't want to punch through your monitor if you do.
yes i beat the game its good

Coop balls with friends. 12/10 I'd tongue and super jump over and over. Incredible game.
Finally a game that gives you first hand experience of what it was apparently like for your grandparents to get to school, if your grandpa was a ball that used his tongue to rocket jump
TL;DR: A really fun game with awesome art and truly refreshing gameplay. It’s way more fun to play with friends, though. Come on… LET’S GO! Rating: 3.5/5 Great game! So far, I haven’t really found it to be “hardcore.” I’m still just getting started, but yeah, clearly, there are ways to really exploit certain mechanics for jumps, speed, or even distance. For a lot of the crystals I’ve collected (3 out of the 8 I have so far), it was actually possible to completely bypass all that. (I won’t say how, because I don’t want it to get nerfed). I’ve played Straftat, and I think part of the game’s charm (in my opinion) is being able to pull off moves or other things that weren’t necessarily intended by the developers from the start. And I find it really rewarding to come up with strategies to get through the challenges and collect the crystals. The only downside so far might be the lack of a teleport system between save points/checkpoints, or better settings. But honestly, it’s a detail you forget pretty quickly. (P.S.: I don’t actually know if the TP locations are fixed? Like, if you’re in zone X, does it take you back to TP X, and not to Y? No idea.)
my ball is bigger than your ball
funny game and relaxable . but i think it would be cool to have a map with teleports to the checkpoints.
Incredibly satisfying design, definitely a splash of rage-platformer in here, which is enjoyable lol
I LOVE LICKING BALLS 10/10 needs more levels by the creator, the one level that is there is beyond fantastic (even considering some of the problems that still plagues small parts of it) the possibility for movement tech is one of the best things about it, among all the skips that can be used to progress through the game quicker. Only issues effecting the game right now is many settings break when in multiplayer, different ones depending whos hosting and whos joining ( as of 8/29/2026 gamma the ingame timer seem to not work on multiplayer for the host, and i think gamma and transparent cage doesnt work for the guest, though there might be more i personally didn't check). Amazing game, i want, no, i NEEED more levels for it. only a few small problems are left to be fixed or improved. Perhaps a mirror mode for levels?
i will lick all these crystal's, if its the last thing i do.
