About
"Myths and Legends" is our next-gen semi-idle, trading real time strategy, that takes the player 2500 years back in time, but with a sense of humor.
The game combines elements of exploration, combat, trade and diplomacy.
The world in which our story takes place is the period before 500 BCE.
The locations in which the game takes place are procedurally generated so that each game is different.
The basic version of the game includes 3 ancient Greek factions and Persians.
Each faction has unique units and statistics for many units and its own huge beasts that can be bred.
The game is the next big step in the development of our engine. The lighting in the game changes as the day and night progress. Trade ships and new arrivals arrive on the player's island, and units can be sent to raid enemy lands.
The player will not only have the opportunity to discover and manage islands, but also conduct diplomacy, trade and war with the outside world and factions.
The islands themselves and their biomes will also be diverse.
Other factions such as the Thracians, Phoenicians. Altants ( why not to add something more ancient than 500 BCE - it's just a game ) and several others will be available to players as separate DLCs.
Myths & Legends — A Surprisingly Deep and Relaxing Experience
I’ve spent about an hour (well… maybe a bit more) in *Myths & Legends*, and my first impression was honestly a mix of confusion and curiosity. At first, I kept losing without understanding what I was doing wrong. The game doesn’t hold your hand — and that can be frustrating at the beginning — but once I switched to an easier difficulty, things slowly started to make sense. After a few attempts, I began to notice how everything connects: resource management, trading, diplomacy, and exploration all play a role in shaping your story. There’s something really satisfying about discovering how the systems interact — it feels like peeling layers off a mysterious world, one decision at a time. Visually, the game is modest but atmospheric. The color palette and music work beautifully together to create a calm, almost meditative tone. It doesn’t try to overwhelm you with flashy effects or fast pacing — instead, it quietly draws you in, letting you explore and experiment at your own rhythm. What impressed me most is how stable everything feels. In an early build like this, I expected bugs or crashes, but I didn’t encounter a single one. Every menu worked smoothly, transitions were clean, and the performance was consistent the entire time. That’s a big plus for a new indie title. Another thing I really enjoyed is the sense of discovery. You start out not knowing much — maybe even feeling a bit lost — but as you experiment, things start to click. It’s that moment when you realize, “Oh, that’s how it works!” that makes this game rewarding. It’s not about rushing to win, it’s about learning how the world behaves and finding your own pace within it. By the time I ended my session, I found myself thinking about what I could’ve done differently and wanting to jump back in to try new strategies. That’s always a good sign.

Myths & Legends may not be for everyone — it’s slow, patient, and thoughtful — but if you enjoy games that challenge you to think and learn, it’s a hidden gem in the making. It doesn’t scream for attention; it quietly earns it. And honestly… I can’t wait to see how it grows with future updates.
Real-time urban planning tactics taking place during the time of Ancient Greece. This game is saturated with the atmosphere of the era of the turn of the III-II millennia BC.
Myths and Legends presents a mysterious world of myths and legends where exciting battles await you. The game combines RPG and action elements, offering a variety of quests and the opportunity to explore a detailed fantasy world. Pros: Atmospheric fantasy world with beautiful graphics and elaborated locations. Interesting combat system combining magic and melee weapons. A large selection of quests and missions, including challenging puzzles. Exciting plot with many mythological references. Cons: Some locations have noticeable graphical bugs, such as textures that appear with a delay. Optimization leaves much to be desired: FPS sags in intense scenes are possible. Character voicing sounds monotonous in some places, which reduces emotional involvement. The game will be interesting for those who love mythology and fantasy, and also are not afraid to face minor technical defects. Myths and Legends offers a rich adventure, which is able to captivate thanks to its world and atmosphere.
I'm left with mixed feelings... On the one hand it wasn't boring, I had a good 11 hours. On the other hand, I'm not sure I'll want to play it again tomorrow. this is an example of a good game that lacks something. but... what exactly? that's a good question. but i didn't see anything new for me.... It's not a bad implementation of a good idea... but the price of a few dollars less would make me happy, and at the moment it doesn't. It's probably 6-7\10, but make sure it's at least 30% off before you buy it.
Feels like early access. Tutorial is poor, tooltips are poor or non existing, controls are not good. It feels sort of tiresome to figure things out I cant even find out how to load my saved game, wtf.
a good melding of several genres together. Boy, you made my day. but, uh, i'd like to wait for the DLC you promised.
Introduction A strategic RTS with elements of humor, exploration elements and hidden objects / treasures. An indie strategy game with procedurally generated levels set in 500 BCE. Gameplay : 4/5 Graphics : 4/5 Music : 5/5 Sound Effects : 4/5 Voice Over Narrations : 3/5 Storyline: 3/5 Overal Note : 4/5 Positive : Mythical Greece, three factions to choose from. Each faction has quite a large number of units. Procedurally generated levels. Fantastic soundtrack. Decent price. Real-time politics with other factions adds an interesting new dimension to this game and the RTS genre. Negative : The factions are quite similar. True, they are all Greek. Without DLC with more diverse factions, the game is quite monothematic. Ok. Spartans have better infantry and Hydra, Thessaly has the best cavalry and Chimera, and Athens has the blue dragon, which is strong and quite cheap, and decent units, average infantry and cavalry. But this diversity is not that big. Politics with other factions is quite different, sometimes they may dislike or like you somewhat randomly. Events such as gifts from another faction or trade that interests us are also quite random. Overal Review : Good game, you can relax with a great soundtrack, but there are no add-ons and DLC with other factions ( would be great to see Egypt or Atlantis ) and units. I'm waiting impatiently for them.
The game requires brain work. The tutorial does not hold your hand, but it helps you get into the game, which has many hidden easter eggs. It allows for replayability if you have the patience to figure out what it is about to play. It's a good game
ai generated mess that doesn't work at all, reviews likely fake
Where to begin... The game is nicely done with decent music, but Only 4 units can be in each location. Selecting multiple units allows you to select and move up to 4 units. There's a way around this. If you're fighting in a location, you can move another 4 to the adjacent square, and then your soldiers will engage the enemy on the march. The game revolves around exploring subsequent squares; maps are generated differently, but the center is often very similar. This is where you mainly expand your city. All units level up, which is a plus. There are places to train or bless them. Overall, a good game for one or two evenings. No more.
