The Broken Dawn is an atmospheric first-person survival horror game about an abandoned city that fell victim to a secret experiment on human consciousness.
You play as Thomas Cale, a video blogger who went with friends to the isolated city of Greyfield for a new video. After a car accident, he wakes up alone. His friends are gone, and the city is filled with madmen and mutants.
The government once conducted experiments in Greyfield on the impact on people's psyche using radio signals. The O.N.Y.X corporation turned this project into a weapon, using a special powder that causes hallucinations, madness, and mutations.
The city was completely isolated, and the truth hidden. Now Thomas must uncover the secret of Greyfield, find his friends, and escape a place where reality and madness are intertwined.
The player explores the abandoned city of Greyfield, entering empty houses, a hospital, and other gloomy locations. As he progresses, he will find notes and items revealing the history of the events that occurred here, as well as solving puzzles that open the way forward.
Madmen and mutants are encountered along the way. Some enemies can be avoided by hiding in closets and under beds, while others can be engaged in combat using a limited arsenal of weapons. Each shot can attract the attention of new opponents, so the player has to choose between risk and caution.
Resources are strictly limited, and the tense atmosphere requires constant concentration. The hero's camera serves not only as a light source but also as a tool for immersion in what is happening, allowing you to capture the strange and frightening phenomena of the city.
There are no safe places in Greyfield. Any sound or careless action can be your last. Only attentiveness, stealth, and composure will help you reach the end.

DEAR DEV PLEASE FIX THE BUGS SO WE CAN HAVE PROGRESS BECAUSE THE GAME GETS COMPLETELY STUCK AFTER A WHILE.. I ENCOUNTER THE FOLLOWING BUGS: 1. I OPENED THE GARAGE DOOR WITH THE FUSES. WHEN I TRIED TO RELOAD THE GAME, I SPAWNED INTO THE GARAGE AND THE DOOR WAS CLOSED SO I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING.. ALL PROGRESS WAS LOST AND HAD TO RESTART SINCE THERE WAS NO OTHER OPTION 2. AT SOME POINT OF THE GAME THE MONSTER WAS BLOCKING THE CORRIDOR SO I COULD NOT GO ANYWHERE AND HAD TO RESTART SINCE THERE WAS NO OTHER OPTION 3. AFTER THE LAST UPDATE, WHEN I OPENED THE CABINET'S DOOR WITH LOCKPICK I COULD NOT TAKE THE FUEL CAN.. THE BUTTON "E" WAS NOT WORKING SO I COULD NOT PROCEED PLEASE FIX THOSE SO THE GAME CAN BE PLAYABLE
This is a great game! I decided to buy it on a whim and played it. The graphics are better than I expected and the gameplay is not boring. I'm intrigued about the lore as well. I had hit a road block at one point, and the developer was really helpful and receptive with dealing with my issue. Not only is it a great game, it has a great developer. I will update my review once more when I finish the game.
Zu aller erst ist dieses Game eine Augenweide wäre es 2004. Leider ist sowohl Steuerung als auch die Grafik und der Sound echt nicht gut. Vorallem finde ich es sehr unüblich dass es keinen Sound außer die Schritte gibt. Was mir in dieser Stunde auch sehr Freude bereitet hat, war dass der Geist or whatever das sein soll, immer in dem Gang gespawnt ist und wir dadruch Stuck waren und neu laden mussten. Alles in allem war es der reinste Horror aber leider kein Horrorgame. Also wenn ihr auf Horror steht der eure Psyche zerstört kann ich dieses Meisterwerk empfehlen, wenn ihr ein gutes Game möchtet dann nicht.
The game is short, but atmospheric. There are interesting moments and good location design. A little lacking in polish, but decent for an indie.
Pretty good game. Didn’t expect much at first, but it actually got me. The atmosphere is really creepy and some moments genuinely scared me. I liked exploring and trying to figure out what to do next. Yeah, it has some small issues, but overall I enjoyed it. Worth playing if you like indie horror.
This has been a great game from what I have played so far. It has fulfilled the jump scares that I enjoy playing in a horror game and has kept me interested in the game and lore within. However, when I get to the "Shut Off The Steam" objective, i complete this task for finding the valve and turning off the steam and I am unable to move forward. Even though I have completed that objective, it still is saying it needs to be completed. I have restarted the game and exited the game fully to see if the objective would resolve and it has not worked. I have also restarted my progress from the beginning and I am still experiencing the same issue.
