The Backrooms Footage

The Backroomsの世界観で作られたMAPを彷徨い、脱出を目指すゲーム。 セーブ地点等は無く、死亡した場合は同じステージから再スタートとなる。 MAP構成は固定だが、スポーンしているいくつかのオブジェクトにランダム要素があり、 ゲーム内でステージをクリアするための情報は特に提示されていない。 歩く・走る動作のカメラの揺れは、設定で抑制する事ができる。 しかしジャンプ操作の揺れが最も大きく、こちらは抑制する手段がない。 実際にジャンプを使用するのは限定的な場面のみなので、 酔うけど頑張りたい人は地形をうまく利用しよう。

the really good PLAY NOW GUYS

The Linux version doesn't seem to work out of the box. Game just launches when hitting play and then stops. Trying to run the command line script that I think launches the game says something about missing resources. Running the game under Proton using the Windows version works out of the box. The game itself seems functional and things work under the Windows version even with Proton. Game play isn't bad, it's off to a good start. However that camera test signal is overlapping the view to a large degree making it difficult to actually explore with color patterns in your face constantly. No way to "put down the camera" so to speak so you can just look without a camera. Honestly if the camera was that broke I'd most likely not be carrying it in my face in the Backrooms like that but to my side while it runs. Good start over all but needs a lot of work to get where it's going and the Linux version will need a lot more work if it's going to be a thing.

This backrooms game is great because of the camera animations, levels, and the puzzles. the puzzle on level 0 was really good and it took me a while to solve it which i like and same as level 37 so if you see this review please get The Backrooms Footage
