Full playthrough here: https://youtu.be/i5m9BmMgsPY It's a pretty good game I'm not quite sure I understood the story, but it's to be continued so that's something. I wish the voices weren't distorted at certain parts, because I really couldn't understand and it seems like it could be semi-important to the plot. The game though is pretty scary it has a really good atmosphere and the monster dude does look pretty creepy sadly though if you die to him you realize there's no real scare factor to him which is probably the biggest knock against the game. I'm glad they went the route of the A.I. being bad instead of being cruelly difficult, but I still feel the death scene should have some scary sound or scare factor of some sort to make you scared to die to the monster. I still did have some suspenseful moments trying to sneak around him since he does chase so it was a great choice by the creators to make doors open slowly to add more suspense to some of the chases. I really thought the cutscenes and tv scenes were really well done and interesting definitely added to the creepy feel, but like I said the story is about as much of a mystery to me as when I started the game. I also got stuck on one of the couches and could not get up, so I had to replay a bit from a save point, but it only happened once, thankfully.
Kayıp oğlunuzu bulmak için garip ve gizemli bir kompleksi keşfedin. The Attic'te sizi takip eden dehşetlerden kurtulup kaybın derinliklerine gizlice girin. Tüyler ürpertici bir film müziğiyle birinci şahıs sinematik deneyimi sunuyor.
I knew from the beginning that this game was going to be a waste of time since it is titled "The Attic" and the first thing you do is go down a hole into a sewer. The plot is... I don't even know what the plot is other than a boy is missing. I managed to find an arcade token and "play" the Walking Man arcade game which again, made no sense. So after wandering around some more (the map is useless btw) I got bored and quit. Rating: 1/10
I haven't beaten the game yet, but all i can say is.... bald. It's only $5, can't even get a burger and fries for $5. It is definitely longer than an hour, don't know if that's good or bad. I'll beat, soon, i just need more to drink. GAME IS AMAZING!!! PURELY FUN!! JUST SAYIN CHAD IS A CHAD
我也碰到了 开关打不开的情况 就是说没电源的那个地方 可能是要打开发电机 可是我发电机没反应
Sadly i cant pull the lever down in the beginning i tried for 30 mins
nice
"The Attic" is a low key asset flip, a bunch of other people's assets assembled badly to make a basic game, typically this kind of thing is done by amateur developers without sufficient budget, talent and/or staff to do the job of game development professionally. It's then quickly rushed into Steam Direct. And, unsurprisingly, this never results in a product with any quality, interest, or value for gamers. This is yet another Unreal asset flip kitbash, the developer took a bunch of other people's game assets, put his own name on them, and dumped them on a first person adventure game blueprint/pack from the Unreal Marketplace, then paid his $100 Steam direct fee. It's a basic first person horror jumpscare asset flip adventure game, one of thousands of these on Steam, all of which are awful. So, the game might look better than you'd expect from an amateur project, but this is because it's partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Very little in this game is truly the creation of the "developer", it's just a bunch of rearranged assets. While there's no up front price for this asset flip, the other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, it's also true they can't do any of the rest of the job of a game developer either. That's definitely true for "The Attic". Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $6 USD for this. Trying to get YOUR money for other people's game assets... this is never okay. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Given that this free title won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? I think you should give this one a miss. Although it's free, your time and storage are valuable resources, and the market is filled with superior options.
