Reviews
Remember kids, dont follow strangers, theres a slight chance their attic is a dungeon filled with hostile creatures.
Not so scarry , dialogues blinks can't read in time and to look around ... needs more improvements
A decent game, not really scary and it has its flaws. A quick 20 minute game. 5.5/10

A short, creepy walkthrough that was decent. I mean, it's free, so not bad. Rating: 6/10
The Alchemists House isn't a game I recommend for someone looking to be scared out of their mind. That being said, it's a pretty awesome experience to spend half an hour on with a friend. The story is simple enough, leaning a little edgy but it adds to the charm. At times it may take a moment to find the objective but it's straightforward enough and generally a little wandering will help you find whatever it is you need. The little plush friend you find is absolutely adorable and I love them with my whole heart, even more so when you find more of them later on in the game. I recommend you play the game twice as one of the endings is very short and a little unfulfilling without the other. The graphics are that kind of style where it's not bad but the use of the camera getting really close to textures has you trying to suppress a laugh. A grotesque style is used later on but it doesn't take away from the unique silliness that comes with the experience.
This Ain't it Chief
I don't know what to say about this game all that much. There ain't that much to do today. And there ain't much to this game. I'm not even really sure what to talk about when it comes to this. The game has a meta-narrative about the characters being ugly. I think that's a cop-out, some of these clownish-looking characters line up with their less-than-subpar dialogue choices. Like the creepy pauses are not the type of creepy you're looking for. I know, I was scareroused. The story half the time doesn't make sense anyway, the Alchemist weirdo kills you if you trust him, then defends you if you don't trust him?? Why, just so you can introduce 3 other villains that can and will kill you if you suddenly don't trust the weird spirit thing THAT TURNS OUT TO BE THE VILLAIN ANYWAY? This story is convoluted, and it makes me angry to have played it just to write this review.
3.4 Overall not terrible, It's not the most coherent piece but you can tell it was an early work. Seems like an amateur dev just making something which is commendable. The journal entries had probably some of the most attention that I doubt many will see. It's free and like 20 minutes, so why not.
Ok i must say that the game is due to its characters rather funny and weird, There is not much horror in it but its still fun to play. Its not really a game that needs to be played. But its FREE so its worth a shot. Its ok to play and recommendable
Honestly, though this game is janky and a little bugged, I still recommend it. This is one of the most bizarre things I've played. I found it I believe from a youtube video. Given the game is free, I recommend more people give it a shot. We need more short, unsettling games like this.
was a very short weird and creepy game. it wasn't complicated in the slightest. like impossible to get lost. honestly by the time i got to the end i was just like, did i just get a "don't talk to strangers" lesson that took like 20 minutes? lol eh if you have a few extra minutes why not.... but, if you're looking for something with a lot of depth and story this is not the game for you
