It's not bad for early access, has the vibes from a couple different games I like to play so was worth it. It has a ways to go, don't get me wrong but I see some potential here. With enough support this game could become better with time easily. Maybe not, it's a friends club it looks like where they support bashing people.
This game has a huge amount of potential! Hope the devs keep updating it. Really enjoying it so far. :) If you're still on the fence about getting it wait for a sale. Picked up my copy for $1. Here's a 3 hour live stream of my first impressions. https://youtube.com/live/2nHQCYxH2Yg
i die all the time,i cant craft things, becouse i die.its to hardcore for me.i know the dev working hard on this game.i am sorry to leave bad review.
It feel's like Subsistence, but it has way less going on around the map. The POI's are currently very empty, a few zombies/military will be there, take em out with ease and then you loot the few things available, it feels like it gives you enough loot per poi, but so far nothing has respawned as far as lootable containers, or cycling loot locations. the combat is really poorly executed as of now, it just point and shoot at head while spamming heals if you're getting shot. I feel like it's pulling a lot of influence from rust with building, but the resources like stone are way to rare around the map (along with respawn of resource nodes). Along with that the stone structure durability is 500 yet doesn't seem to matter as the few explosives that you see from a distance when you are running back to base from enemies will already have torn down your really expensive stone wall, that ultimately makes building pointless. It has very little to do beside loot/grind resource/shoot enemy. crafting is straight forward as with most of these games, I'm sure multiplayer would be a real chore as there is literally no where near enough of anything on the map to utilize for 2 or more players (ammo/valuables) food armor and guns seem to spawn enough. the amount of enemies that spawn during raids is ridiculous at some point, the only time I died was at time of writing this review, there was about 20+ raiders shooting rockets at my base with more spawning right next to others. Seemed a bit overkill for being on like day 6. May have been my own fault for building relatively close to the military compound, (which also spawns new enemies like every 10 to 20 minutes). All in all, if the game received more updates and had more interesting mechanics I would keep playing for now though it will be uninstalled until I see more improvement on it. I loved Subsistence all though it was almost the same as this as far as EA goes, but this has less to it and feels more like it isn't going anywhere.
Since graphic motor update. The game became bugged as hell. Good project, but not avaible to play even a bit.
Muito mal otimizado!!. Comprei uma vez. Não rodou!. Jogo atualizou tentei dar mais chance. E não rodou. Tenho 16gb ram e GTX 1650. Ryzen 7 3700H
The first few play troughs where a little rough like for example I hard a hard time obtaining fresh drinking water. And, I didn't realize the aggressiveness of the enemy AI can be adjusted trough the game settings. Now, finally figured it out and the game has got a lot better.
The gamedev has been busy updating the game, there is a good amount of content added in. ________ The gameplay experience so far has been brutal, many times when I assume I am safe to wait out the night out in the wilds. There is always something that is wanting to eat me, almost jumped out of my chair when a bear attacked me during the night in the nearly pitch black forest LOL It was so quiet around me just before that happened, I tried to run away & crossed paths with a horde of zombies. There is friendly fire, you can possibly use that to your advantage when you are outnumbered in battle. I was being chased by a pack of wolves & one of them were taken down by bandit's firearm. Every shot counts on Territory, I appreciate that we can have a chance to re-obtain our arrows. Most other survival games always give you an abundance of firearm ammo, yet here. You will need to plan out what & when you are going to use items for early game sessions. I have managed to find a somewhat quiet location to build a starter base, right next to a small area I can go fishing. I think I have survived about 3 bandit raids & 7 zombie hordes ever since I have began building. I'm enjoying the fishing on the game, having to improve my character's cooking skills in order to make better meals. I haven't had a chance to delve deep in to the gardening for Territory yet, but I am slowly working at it. I am getting very close to having the required resources to craft a water catcher, once that is finished. I'll definitely be able to travel much further to explore or raid the bandits before they come after me. ______ A few times I got to play on someone's server, it was rad seeing the amount of structures they have worked on throughout the development Territory. Though due to our time zone difference, I don't get to play with that person too often. Would be cool to see more people join in, the dev added railroads. I'd love to see those zipping all around the map to different player settlements & have something like a trading economy of some sort.
