Nice, calming game with pleasant sound effects and rewarding "skill tree" style resource placement. I love restoring wastelands to more diverse, thriving biomes!

Encountered a known bug that has not been addressed since last year. Very frustrating to progress through a map and be unable to finish it because of constant random fires.
I love this game so much. I find myself returning to it year after year to calm down with a quick level, challenge myself, or just replay through the levels again for the beauty of them. I love that the mechanics of the game interweave beautifully with a story of healing for a wasteland planet, and I love seeing the life return to the world. I find this gripping both as a game to play in class while listening to lectures, or completely engrossed in what I'm doing. Terra Nil is a great game that tells a story without shoving it in your face, and lets you decide for yourself how challenging you want your experience to be. You could plan everything out to the square space, or let everything flow seamlessly. If that's not enough, the music and art are also beautiful!
I’m leaving a review for this game which I don’t usually do, I absolutely love this game ( 30+ hours and have completed every mission and achievement ) i do recommend it if the game play is your style however there are some issues with the game that came make it frustrating and even unplayable at times. 1 : the game is tagged as relaxing however I don’t really think this is true, some puzzles can be very hard and frustrating and in some runs you’ll do something wrong early on without realising it and it’ll pretty much make the run un winnable near the end, making you have to restart. 2 : you get a tutorial early on when you start for the first set of tools you unlock, but later on in the game you will unlock new tools with no clue or tutorial on how to use thing, you’ll have to figure things out through patience, trial and error. This is fine for some people but can also be frustrating at times. 3 : the game has random freezes and on some of the bigger maps it happens constantly once you start building the place up. Luckily the game hasn’t ever crashed on me, only froze. but I have heard people complain about it crashing as well from time to time. 4 : sometimes even if you’ve completed every mission during the run the game won’t let you end, going back to the menu and back into the run seems to be the fix! Outside of this the game is amazing and it feels very gratifying every time you finish a new map. The graphics are beautiful, the sounds are satisfying and the puzzles are fun even when they can be hard. I’ve enjoyed this game a lot and will definitely be playing again if any new content is added in the future. Hopefully with future updates or patches some of the bugs will be removed!
Enjoyed the concept of this game and the majority of each level, but the photography requirements at the end are far too frustrating - sometimes requiring your to restart the level. They should be optional, or only require a percentage of them completed.
Welp. 74 hours, 100% completion, and 100% achievements. It might not be for everyone, but if it's for you, it's a great game.
