About
Terminal Shift is a psychological horror game set in a deserted airport terminal, which has been twisted into a terrifying looping nightmare. Escape by gathering numbers for the access code and surviving encounters with a threatening entity.
Each loop contains a hidden number for the full access code. The number can be anywhere on the surface of the airport or can also be hidden as formed objects and even in visual patterns with unusual occurrences. The code is procedurally generated and changes every loop, storing your input along the way.
After the number is found, it should be inserted into the keypad device before proceeding to the next loop. Gather the full 10-digit code, gain access to the boarding gates and escape.
You are not alone! An unknown entity has taken control of the airport and lurks in the shadows of the terminal, hunting you with its terrifying presence. Must be avoided at all costs.
Optional VHS camera mode. Bringing the nostalgic analog interface to the game. This mode also allows the player to zoom.

Immersive and realistic experience with minimal user interface and a chilling atmosphere.

Terminal Shift is a fairly simple, but effective "Spot the anomaly" style horror game. You search for a hidden Number in a spooky air port terminal while staying away from The Entity. There are 3 different difficulties, I beat the game on Normal in about 30 minutes. What I Liked: It looked good! The lighting is well done, the flashlight isn't too dim or too bright, and the flashes of lightning illuminate the dark areas in a very creepy way. It's not too hard. Some Anomaly Hunt games lean into the "this paper clip moved 2 pixels to the left" style swaps, but this game makes the numbers fairly obvious to find. There were only a few times in my playthrough of Normal Mode did I find myself stumped with what the number could be. The Entity isn't around all the time in Normal mode. He is more aggressive in Hard and Nightmare. The sound effects and scares were good. Sometimes while searching for a number I heard something running up behind me. A table would jerk violently towards me as I walked near it. A stack of dishes flung itself to the floor when I went near the cafe. It was enough to keep me very cautious as I explored. What Could Be Improved: The entity on Normal could be a little more aggressive. Other than a few times when he would make it hard to not look at him (as if he were grabbing the camera), he was easy to avoid. His design is also very simple, it reminded me of Slenderman a lot. The 6 and the 9 look very similar. I was questioning which one it was a few times, especially when it was on the screen above the Gates. Overall I really liked this game, and will probably stream the harder modes at some point. Great work to the dev!
The Game was Okay but for an Trigger Game with Copy Paste Level that not so complicatet to programm this on Unreal is the Price a little bit to much. For 2,99 is it okay but not more.
Thank you Digital Star Games for the key! Terminal Shift is a psychological horror experience that leans heavily on tension, observation, and pattern recognition rather than traditional jumpscares. Set inside a looping, deserted airport terminal, the core objective is simple: locate hidden numbers across each loop to assemble a 10-digit access code and escape. What makes it effective is how those numbers are integrated into the environment. They aren’t just placed—they’re embedded in visual patterns, object arrangements, and subtle anomalies, which pushes the player into a constant state of doubt. You’re not just searching—you’re interpreting. The looping structure adds pressure, especially with the presence of a stalking entity that becomes an increasing threat the longer you take. It reinforces a feeling that the environment isn’t static, and that your actions may be influencing what happens next. While the mechanics are straightforward, the strength of Terminal Shift lies in its atmosphere and psychological tension. It’s a focused, unsettling experience that will appeal most to players who enjoy liminal spaces, anomaly-hunting gameplay, and slower, observation-driven horror.
