About
In a concrete slab buried deep beneath the earth, a lone technician is sent for what should be routine maintenance on a network of supercomputers. Run the scripts. Get the job done. And remember, they're just machines.
Terminal Lucidity combines atmospheric horror with cryptic cipher-breaking gameplay. Each terminal operates on its own hidden rules, and the only way to escape is to learn how to speak their language. Learn how each operates individually, and then learn how their rules combine into new outputs.
This game is designed as a self-contained psychological thriller experience, playable to an ending in a single 2 to 4 hour sitting. Each corner of the map has been modelled and each puzzle handcrafted to deliver a challenging yet tight single-player experience.
Keep your notes nearby, as you will have to rely on your own broken memory. Every answer and every command is available from the beginning - you only need to rediscover them.
Not that it matters, as there is no way out.

Wow the puzzles are crazy but the world and story is fantastic. Very highly recommend.
This is a difficult, but fun game and I can't really complain considering it was free. Love the older style graphics and ciphers. Its helpful to take notes and keep in mind that you don't have an ability to save, lol. It is definitely frustrating at times, but in a good way. I really appreciate the challenge.
Extremely good metroidbrania and a hidden gem in general, with really cool themes and gameplay. Some endgame stuff is slightly too obfuscated imho but nothing impossible. The puzzles really flow well and are quite interesting, all for the price of free! Must try if you like metroidbranias.

What a game! Went in blind and loved it! Terminal Lucidity is definitely not for everybody, it is quite challenging and doesn't hold your hand but it's never unfair. Everything you need to solve the puzzles is right there: it's up to the player to put the pieces together. The beginning is confusing by design, but you slowly unravel the layers and rules that govern the small storage room you are trapped in. The puzzles are never just a one-and-done thing: you will actively use what you just learned to solve the next puzzle in creative ways. You will definitely scratch your head often, but there are no obtuse answers. The clues are there, waiting to be found. Just one piece of advice: write everything down. This is a game where the progression is entirely knowledge based, and that knowledge is the only thing that can set you free. Maybe.
At first I was like: oh, unknown short exploration game with some fun cyphers that will take 4 hours max. Little did I know that it'd consume my next 7 hours. HOWWWW is this so unknown??? it's such a great cypher game! I´m REALLY used to puzzle solving, and yet this was challenging (and took incredibly long to finish all endings). Besides, IT IS FREE What are you waiting for? Play this, you won't regret it (if you like puzzle games). Be aware that the mechanic is typing commands on like, 10 different computers. But you don't need to enjoy programming or even know programming by any means (I sure don't). It is a neat game anyway. The start is, in my opinion, the most challenging part, because you aren't aware of the rules. After you understand what the computers do and what you're supposed to do, you get on a real nice flow state. Support indie devs, people!
Simplesmente sensacional
This game could be so good but its lacking basic features such as save system... Also the performance is questionable and some of the notes are hard to read, but the puzzles are very fun in general
The only thing lacking in this game is save system. Terminal Lucidity is one of those complex puzzle that needs you to write your own memo because how rudimentary and complex the system is. Like the deeper you go, the harder it gets. I wasted for few hours deciphering three terminals and I still haven't found yet to find a clue how to do it. Of course some may shrug it off because how hard the puzzle is which I understand that. But do note the puzzle in this game is not for everyone due to severe difficulty it gets. If you're nut breaker and puzzle solver then consider try the game out. It's free!
