About

Build. Dodge. Loop. Something’s coming.
Tenvader is a roguelike arcade shooter where you merge strange blocks to power up your ship and face waves of evolving enemies. Survive long enough, and the universe starts to break — time loops, enemies mutate, and a cosmic force begins to interfere.
Every block you place changes the way you play. Build smart. Fight hard. Try to remember what’s real.
🧱 Merge blocks to evolve your ship
Collect and place block-shaped upgrades on your ship to boost stats, unlock weapons, or trigger powerful effects. Stack the same type of block to grow stronger — or fall apart trying.
🎯 Bullet hell meets puzzle building
Move fast and think faster. Each round combines arcade dodging with quickfire building decisions.
⏳ Time pressure with real consequences
After every wave, you get a block reward — but only if you finish in time. Fail, and the void may punish you with broken or cursed blocks.
🌀 Procedural loops, persistent tension
As you dive deeper into the game’s loops, enemies become more unpredictable, boss fights twist, and the mysterious Overseer begins to watch your every move.
💥 Unique boss encounters
Each boss introduces new mechanics and challenges. In higher loops, they gain new abilities — pushing you to rethink your builds and tactics.
👁️ Lore hidden in fragments
Discover strange messages, events, and stage effects hinting at a larger mystery behind the loop. Who broke the cycle — and can you fix it?
A fresh blend of Tetris-style merging and arcade shooting
A loop-based progression system with growing difficulty and surprise modifiers
Dozens of unique block types with synergies and side effects
Unlockable weapons tied directly to how you build
Hand-crafted pixel art with a cosmic, glitchy vibe
A mysterious narrative that unfolds over multiple runs

What an incredibly ambitious game that packs a lot of great ideas into a very cohesive package, I also adored the visuals and thought the soundtrack was great. FULL VIDEO - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiaNxPimuN8
Its seems really good but I suck at Tetris.
It's an incredible introduction to the game but it unfortunately falls off pretty quickly at least for me. I deeply enjoy most of the core mechaniques and i truly think it's a good gameplay loop. Unfortunately once the first loop is done the second difficulty levels is an enormous jump in difficulty, not only do the bosses have actual diffcult patterns to dodge the rng becomes way more harsh and the regular ennemies are way more challenging. These remarks aren't negative and are to be expected with the difficulty increase unfortunately some other factors make it way more frustrating (to take with a grain of salt i haven't deeply played the game enough probably). -the block rng is kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the game seems to encourage you to try different types of builds with some focusing more on atk or health wise for example, but on the second loop i kept getting either health/shield or two curses, since i'm already struggling with my low damage and 22 levels in health and shield i kinda have to take more shield/healt -the laser elite ennemies feel unfair, sometimes these mf just shoot their laser and then reposition across the entire screen making it impossible to dodge. Or they can position themselves close to the middle point of the arena forcing me on either side, and then the debuff elites just throws ♥♥♥♥ at me forcing me to chose beetween risking killing entire column of blocks with the laser or deciding that i'll take the debuff blow and... still lose an entire row of blocks. -that's probably a skill issue but the spinjitsu atk from the starfish boss just kills you instantly if you don't have an incredibly high speed, i couldn't dodge it by triying to pass to the opposite side of the arena while he was bouncing around. All in all it's still a pretty good game and i'll probably play it again especially on trips but it does need a good amount of tuning difficulty wise and faireplay wise, also it took me an hour and a half to understand what ghost blocks do and i'm still not entirely they're a negative thing without curses
