This game sets a new high bar for anomaly games. I would highly recommend to anyone that is a fan of anomaly games and horror to pick this up immediately. Pros: Perfect blend of creepy overt, creepy subtle, and just plain subtle anomalies. Spaced out over two game modes of the base game, and the base game with more difficult spots 'nightmare mode'. A captivating little story to tie in the anomalies and oddness of the Ten Bells pub. Wonderful tense atmosphere that has yet to feel stale after hours of gameplay. A great tracker of the ones you've spotted with names, once you've completed the game once. Cons/Nitpicks: There are a non-insignificant number of anomalies that are obvious, and triggered before leaving the pub at the end of the hallway. Which scary yes, but it changed the way I played the game. Rushing to the end first to then backtrack, getting the obvious ones out of the way if they were there. Several achievements are tied to pushing your face up to something scary. Several anomalies kill you and restart your progress when you push your face up against them.
very nice and short. a nice and quick story plus an extra mode. being allowed to take your time with anomalies is very nice. the english pub i like a lot, an old english pub is a fresh take, compared to more modern or train locations that usually are in anomaly games.
Decent anomaly game, I'd say perfect for people who live in the UK & enjoy going to the pub. Honestly, if you like anomaly games, it's perfect. Of course, you sometimes can't tell what the anomaly is. I even counted the coasters on the tables to see if they changed & on "the last" walkthrough, there was less. Yeah, it's a good anomaly game, don't really know what more to add.
Great game! Worth every penny. I loved it. Great creativity.
I'm obsessed! Some good scares, some fun scares and a great spot the difference game. Love the atmosphere and the story telling. Great over all!
