Tanks Vs Aliens is a real time tower defense game. It starts you off rather easy, with a few tanks and towers and shows you how to go about everything and then ramps up the difficult towards the end. Overall a pretty simple tower defense game. Menus: The main menu is laid out pretty simple, The standard New Game, Play(Which is continue), Settings, Credits and Quit. Everything is self explanitory. In the settings menu, you have sliders for Music and Sound, but no slider for overall volume or voice volume. Graphics options are also limited to "Low", "Medium", and "High." As well as a variety of resolution settings. The toggling of full screen and windowed(But no borderless window mode.) And the ability to disable the story and tutorial. Once you've started a game, you get access to the Tankpedia, which gives you details of all the tanks unlocked and defeated. Music/Sound: Everything is loud. The sound design is clean and mechanical. The music is fits very well between synth heavy pieces and metal but it does get repetitive after a while. There is voice acting, but it's limited to unit losses, creation, and that the next wave is incoming. Gameplay: The gameplay loop is simple. Create tanks of different types(Rock, Paper, Scissors) to protect the portal from the enemy tanks. You're given a budget at the start as well as a few tanks to start you out. As you destory other tanks, you earn credits to repair, produce, and upgrade your tanks. And then it's just moving your units around as needed to eliminate all the enemies on the level. There are 3 basic difficulties, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. As well as a challenge(achievement) associated with each level. Controls: The controls a simple, you use the mouse to highlight and select units and to give them orders. You can scroll using the sides of the screen or with the WASD keys. Q heals your units, and E upgrades your units. Summary: A pick up and play type game. Simple premise, with some challenge along the way, playing on Bronze feels like you're along for the ride while playing Gold can be quite a handful. Pros: Great, but repetitive music and sound design. Easy to pick up and play. Simple intuitive controls Trading Cards Cons: Everything is very loud. Story is well thought out but presented awkwardly.

그냥저냥 할 만한 디펜스 게임.본진에서 유닛을 뽑아 마우스 컨트롤로 움직여주면서 적을 없애고 고치거나 강화하면서 웨이브를 넘긴다.모바일로 나왔으면 나름 인기를 끌었을 텐데 pc로 나오니 그냥 평작이 되어서 나온 지 7달이 지났는데 평가 수가 4개 밖에 안 되는 기염을 토하고 있다.하실 분이 있다면 절대 절대 금 난이도는 하지 않길 바랍니다. 내 멘탈이 금이 아니라면 산산조각날 만큼 불합리한 난이도입니다.
