Fun alone, but more fun with friends.
Tank Quest is a top-down shooter with strategy elements. The campaign is divided into about 8 different levels which each contain 5 missions. If you die at any point in these 5 missions, you have to start from the first one again. This can be very frustrating, but forces you to learn strategy to complete them faster. After a couple times dying on mission 5, I was able to zip through missions 1-4 easily. Co-op reduces this frustration as all members of the party need to die to restart the level. Friendly fire makes for lots of funny moments, and the game goes a lot faster with help from teammates. My first solo run took me about 5 hours, but playing with 3 people only took about 1 hour to beat the game. My personal favorite part of the game is the huge collection of secret characters you can unlock. Some are found via platforming, some through puzzles, and others by pushing map exploration to the extreme. I think this is Tank Quest's best quality, and added a lot of replay value for me.
The game is easy and fun, but i have no arm, so i lack of pepperino, i can't play this masterpiece so thats why my gameplay time is so low. But i would play again 10/10. Jokes aside, good game and good price, recomended.
100% recommended. A genuinely adorable twin-stick shooter that's well worth the price. The story is a bit bare-bones, but the gameplay is solid, the sound design is top tier, the soundtrack is stuck in my head still, and the aesthetics are amazing. A genuinely accessibly twin-stick for even people categorically bad at them (like me).
It's harder than it looks and a lot of fun! My favorite part is where I die to my own bullet. Happened a lot by now, it's always amazing. [I'm just terrible, don't mind me.]
hi
This game is really recommended to family players who can play with kids. Multi controllers are supported.
It's really fun!
👍
Tank go BRRRRR I wish it had an option for relative movement control like in Brigador, screw movement up often this way but still a lot of fun.
Game is very fun! Got it during the winter sale but honestly wouldn't've minded if I had to buy it full price! It's like Wii tanks but as a full game! My only gripe is that I can't get past world 9's boss. Not because it's hard, but because I can't stop encountering the glitch where the boss just phases out of the arena, never to be seen again. Don't get me wrong, I genuinely would've tried to finish the campaign in one sitting if the boss actually acted as intended.
