Greate game i need to buy full version
Talisman Prologue, as the title implies, is a tutorial game introducing you to the world of Talisman. And it's fine enough for what it is. The gameplay offers a variety of characters and quests you can complete. All accompanied by a pleasant-sounding soundtrack and often differing artwork that we came to know from the original game, which helps give Prologue its own identity. I wish it'd have achievements as an extra incentive to finish some of the more repetitive tasks, but that's a minor complaint on my part.
Salut ici ! Prologue. C'est tout pour moi o/ Have Fun !

Frustrating and unplayable. Why? You can't save battle in progress. You have to finish it. One battle can take more than an hour. If you stop the game, you have to start over. 2. No sense of progress in battles. Example: after +45 turns you roll Hague follower and you lose everything. You have to spend another 10-20 turns to recover where you left off. Very very frustrating game.
Good single-player introduction to the full Talisman experience.
In theory the idea of this game is great: tutorial kinda missions to get to learn the game without any disruptions etc. The problem is that this game is very very boring on your own and feel much more unfair than it probably does in a group. You are given a number of missions per character, all with their unique goal. Each turn you throw the dice and move the number of steps either clockwise or counterclockwise, do whatever is supposed to happen in that location and repeat. The game is heavily luck-based and often very frustrating because you have little to no control over where your turn ends or what happens there. Even though you have a number of lives, gold etc. that can change incredibly quickly. I've died because i've lost 3 lives because of an event, was robbed more often than i actually found gold, etc. For each mission you also get a "grade" based on the number of turns etc. This is another thing that is highly frustrating because you can only ever move the full number of steps on your dice. This often means that you have to spent countless turns trying to get to a certain location because you never get the number of steps required. Because you are completely alone it is also absolutely ridiculous when you lose a number of turns, it doesn't really matter anyways. In the 2 1/2 hours I've played most has been randomly walking around to get to the one spot i needed to get to, getting defeated by a horde of enemies that attacked at once and replaying the same 4 missions. A bit disappointing. Also, you cannot save the game during a mission. After stepping on a field where i had to throw a dice for me and each of my followers, I had NINE!!!, and lose a life or follower if the dice i threw for the respective character was a 1 or 2 AND ACTUALLY GETTING A 1 OR 2 FOR 8 OUT OF 9 THROWS I AM DONE! This game is rigged.
