About
Read it your way: Includes standalone .epub and .pdf versions!
The world ended. The sun itself is dying. Yet among the glowing embers and against all odds, life persists. Welcome to the Eddawielm: An accretion disk formed of the flames of a shattered Solar System, strewn with the tumbling fragments of dead planets, and littered with the defiant remnants of mankind; a new world... with all the old problems.
In this collection of mystery, misadventure, romance and horror, workmen swoop along cables high above a teeming city, praying they don’t plummet to their doom, while below them, a young seamstress sees too much and finds herself threatened by the sordid side of city politics. In the shadows of the deeper streets, an ill-fated academic studies a mysterious artefact, a detective investigates a kidnapping, and farmers tending fields of vat-grown flesh contend with the arrival of bodies in their meaty crop.
Far from the city and across the burning sea, in a place of great faith and spiritual enlightenment, an unlucky scoundrel discovers that his fate is sealed when he foolishly crosses a notorious gangster. Meanwhile, an archaeological expedition discovers an ancient tomb-ship, a drifting monument to the sleeping dead, set on its endless voyage centuries earlier. Therein the mortal footsteps echo, and something dreadful stirs...

Reviews
Well! This wasn't what I expected and I'll be finishing it at a later date but a heads up for those looking at this one! To the player: If you were expecting an interactive text game like Roadwarden and other similar games, this may not be your game! This game is actually just a book! You click through and the paragraphs fade into view while you read. I'm sure that if you have a hard time reading physical books this might be helpful to you! Otherwise, the only interaction you're getting here is clicking to the next paragraph. To the Dev: Not bad at all for what it is! I have some very minor complaints and that's just lack of music (easier said than done, I know getting stuff is a pain.) and the inability to change the font color. The orange on black kind of hurts your eyes after awhile and it'd be nice to swap to some pre-made palettes or even just a little color wheel selector.
