Taking Valhalla VR

Well I purchased this game today and just played for about 30 mins. Its not bad I do like that you have to use a boat to get around the world. It makes it a little bit harder and diffrent because if your not back in time the enemy destroys the base. I didnt like that there wasnt enought content but from what I have seen on the store page is that the dev seems to be very interative with the community so hopefully they will add more content over time. But for 10$ its not a bad game to play to take up time. I do plan to play more of this.

[h1] Experienced on Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers, has game-breaking issues [/h1] Game loads up fine and starts. However, it's basically unplayable currently on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers. There are button mapping issues that make it impossible to play certain parts. You can't navigate the boat because I could only figure out how to turn, despite pressing all buttons. I couldn't go forward or backward, just left or right. You have to press down on your left controller joystick to move around. You start with your bow on your right hand instead of the left. Yes, you can pick up items off tables, but you jump on top of the tables when you get near them. Enemies bounce off of you as well. Your weapons drop from your hands for apparently no reason. So this looks like an amazing game. It's certainly very ambitious. But the bugs and erros are just impossible to ignore. The game is currently not playable. FYI, I know the game does not claim to support Oculus Rift, but I find it difficult to believe that the bugs are only on the Oculus Rift. I shouldn't bounce off enemies because I'm using the Oculus Rift versus the HTC Vive. And weapons shouldn't drop from my hands. The button mapping issues are certainly only on the Oculus Rift, but everything else is probably also a problem on the Vive.
