About
This comfy walking simulator was home grown by a lover of hikes with terrible knees. Enjoy and explore 5 (for now) unique and beautiful maps that take you from the Arctic to the creators’ backyard. Dynamic weather will immerse you in these serene environments. Scurrying wildlife will kickstart your cuteness aggression. Up your sense of adventure with hidden treasures to uncover around every bend. This game can be enjoyed in various ways. Auto-walk through the map to keep you company at work. An idle screen that can act as a 3D wallpaper. Or exploring the world yourself and braving encounters with terrible and sarcastic beings. Take a Walk brings the walks to you. Enjoy-

Everyone tells me to touch grass and now I can do it from the comfort of my computer desk. Sometimes its just nice to explore nature. Some things I would recommend to try is going to the settings and changing the settings like walk speed, time of day, and weather. Its a different experience walking through the forest at night with the flash light.
This game is very well-done! I love the peaceful vibes. It's especially relaxing having on in the background when I'm tied to my desk for work.
Absolutely lovely (and a bit funny). No negative points, just a wish list: -can you make the sound of walking in the snow a bit more "crunchy" please? - would it be very hard to make an edition in which you ca gather stuf and build a home? That would be so awsome! Thanks.
It's basically just open maps where you can wander around the woods. It's not bad for what it is, and the price is low. It's not a game, strictly speaking. But it's fine if you want to listen to birds and look at trees, and that's always nice by itself.
Nice walking simulator with a couple of maps - three smaller maps, one medium-sized one and one slightly bigger one. You can also collect totems during your walk. The maps are very well crafted and the atmosphere is serene and calming. The developer definitely has a good eye for the beauty of nature. Furthermore, the sound design helps to relax. Three or four more maps would have been great, but I would also buy them as a DLC.
Some of the hidden jokes were nice, but I would have preferred something else, maybe poems or parts of a story?
All in all a clear recommendation if you are looking for some peace of mind.
I enjoyed walking around finding the fun little things around each map. I really enjoy the fact you can choose the weather it really makes the walk your own. Hopefully more fun little things are added for players to find even then I still enjoy my time walking around and looking up at the sky hearing the sounds of the game. Looking forward to any new maps in the future !!
It's a good game if you want a relaxing walk through the world. Could easily see myself throwing on an audiobook/youtoube video and just chilling for a good while. The totems are nice. They add a fun exploring element. Overall, if a chill vibe of a game is what you're looking for, I'd give it a shot. :)
This game is super relaxing, although it is called 'take a walk' and leans on the gentle side of walking, you can also set the walk speed super high and choose a severe weather like a blizzard or thunderstorm and race around the island to satisfy your ADHD brain (like I did), i think this game is wonderful and I was genuinely so surprised when the blizzard actually left snow on the ground! There's so many 'time of the day' and weather options to pick from and the game is quite funny with its little secrets, I'd definitely recommend this, full price, and since it is on sale as I write this, I couldn't recommend it any more!
