About

Takara Cards is a roguelike deck-builder where you create a Cadet and search for the legendary Space Dragons who stole from the Federation!
Choose from four unlockable races, each with its ship: The fearless Dwarves, the intuitive Humans, the mystical Orks, or the glamorous Elves!
Build your deck while exploring the Cosmos, and choose from a handful of Maneuver and Equipment cards earned in story events, level-ups, and stores.
Unlock new races, and create new characters and strategies:
Earn extra XP in combat by doing a chain of COMBOS!
Plan and make your turns never end: Defeating a wave of enemies recharges your batteries.
You might even resort to using your whole ship as a weapon!

Choosing what’s your starting reputation can be as important as your choice of cards:
What’s your Reputation?
Are you a fast learner, a Proud Genius?
Business comes easy for you, maybe a Born Seller?
Are you a gifted pilot, something like a Naive Prodigy?
Keep in mind Reputations aren’t permanent and are passive of change through events in your journey.
Your response to events influences your reputation and deck: Karma will be generated during your interactions.
Say you respond in a blessed way… you’ll get blessed Karma and Reputation!
You rather be a badass? Guts Karma is out there somewhere in the Cosmos!

Buy authorized equipment from the Guild or not-so-official ones from the Pirates.
Smuggled equip cards travel around the galaxy, and you could end up as a mule...
You might be able to steal cards if your reputation of Thief turns up, but be aware:
Your chances of being caught are also defined by your Karma!

Play cards in a DEEP, PUZZLY, and chill turn-based combat.
Over 140 cards and 40 units!
Create your character by choosing species, cards, and reputation!
Your Deck is your Pilot and your Ship: Build it by venturing through the Cosmos and Events.
Synergize between dozens of UNIQUE cards to clear the board of enemies in ONE turn.
Destroy enemies and recover resources that can be exchanged for various supplies - or use them as ammunition!
Exoteric Karma system that influences your Character and Events.
Events with voice acting inspired by tabletop RPGs.
Hand-painted artwork inspired by 80's anime!
Lore and strategies are accessible within the game in the Codex!

Incredibly bland roguelike.

Not recommended - it does not work or follow its own rules. You are told to destroy an engine and then a capacitor in the most grindy way possible and when you destroy the capacitor, it just endlessly respawns. Oh and there is nowhere to check the current objectives because the game never shows them to you. It has all of the visual polish and none of the game mechanics kind. The game seriously expects you to start the game by studying all of the stupid, peak video-gamey cards known to man and make a deck out of them. When you get to the gameplay, it is a repeat of the same enemy with different graphics that you are supposed to hit with weird navigational moves to RAM THEM IN SPACE. All this happens while you are being handicapped by ridiculously forced limitations such as "spend all of your energy" or else. This game is so shoddy it makes most of the free Java games blush. The pricing is insane for how little you get. It feels instantly old and never really works. It is one of those games where the whole point of them is to figure out the arbitrary logic the game developer wants you to follow, after which there is nothing left to do with it besides closing the game and never touching it ever again. I got this from a Fanatical Mystery Bundle. Clearly a game being rated "Very Positive" because of all kinds of review manipulation and sunken-cost shills.
Arcade tarza sahip tur bazlı deck build oyunu.
Needs a specific launch command to work in Steam Deck desktop mode without getting stuck on the launch screen, meaning if I want to play without being docked I need to modify launch commands, shouldn't have the "verified" tag in that case, this makes swapping between desktop and game mode really annoying. Overall the UI is the games worst problem, cards are stacked vertically instead of vertically unlike every single other deckbuilder so you have to mouse over them constantly, keywords are hidden in a glossary and even then not everything is explained you have to guess what keywords do as you can only check these things in between missions, if you encounter something while fighting, tough luck. Whenever you stop you have to go through each menu to figure out what you can actually do in each location, there are no visual indicators of what you can actually do, it feels more like navigating a terminal than choosing an option in a videogame. Everything in the game is just really unintuitive and hard to grasp, leading to constant friction and annoyance, I never felt like I was inching towards mastery, just figuring out the bizzare moon logic and what the game actually wants from me. Some enemies will say they are attacking but its not obvious where they are going to attack, and other enemies push things around so I got hit by random attacks that I thought I was safe from, extremely frustrating. Cards are far too restrictive, sometimes an enemy will warp in an inconvenient place and your draws will have no way to address them, leading to non turns, but this happens far too frequently, meaning lots of down time. Turns also take far too long to complete, so not only are some turns non-events, you also have to sit through these filler turns quite often. The selections in random events some times don't make sense, for instance because I had the "rich" karma I could pay off my debts instantly but I was already in debt, is it family inheritance, did I call in a favor? Who knows, its not really explained. At best the game could be seen as a vibes based experience, as the aesthetics, art and soundtrack are by far the best part of the game. Overall the game is just too ambitious for its limited scope and budget, instead of honing a small subset of features to perfection it feels like a grab bag of "this sounds cool, implement it", honestly I tried getting a refund but I was outside the 14 day window just for the launch command issue. The main thing that this game highlights is that for a card game playability, intuitive UI and easy to grasp hard to master concepts are essential otherwise you will bounce off quickly. I would stay far away even on a deep sale.
