Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/vpUsEXAiIaQ This is a neutral recommendation. I did enjoy this horror maze-type game, but I also think it had too many issues to really positively recommend this game. I think I beat the game in less than 50 minutes, but I say "think" because basically the screen turned black for several seconds and then the game went to the main menu after I had completed all the objectives. It was a very rough ending and not what you expect. When I restarted the game, the game save file was gone. The things I liked about the game was the visuals, I think the forest map looks good and has a nice layout to it. The game is very atmospheric, with lots of creepy sounds and things to discover as you walk along. It's just a scary game with the right amount of darkness and light from your flashlight (you can set the brightness scale at the start of the game). The things I didn't like was just about everything else. I guess the biggest think is the bugs. The game is poorly optimized, lots of pop in, blurriness which is a lot worse when you die. There's even some pathing issues. The interactions are almost non-existent, there's a quest that says to get a fuse, but you basically just walk to the location and it's automatically completed for you. You don't see a fuse or actually pick it up. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, on medium graphical settings, I was getting 40-80 fps. You do have full locomotion and smooth turning available. You can play the game comfortably seated. Since this game is budget-priced, I think there's enough here to give it a neutral recommendation. However, I think many of you will probably want to wait for a patch before buying this game. You've been warned!
